Martin struggles in bed and Nancyiaga pretend to be Veronica and takes advantage of him. Veronica returns home with the food and says to herself that finally she and Martin will be happy. Magdalena and a nurse enter Matilde’s room and notices she is having a cardiac arrest. Before the doctor arrives, the nurse tells her Matilde is death. Magdalena calls out Veronica’s name and cries. A nurse sees Virginia in the hallway and wonders what she is still doing here. The nurse doesn’t believe her excuse and call Daniel to inform him. Manuel and Juancho have plan something and Manuel asks him to go ahead and implement it. Crescencio decides to lock Ana Perla up and leave. She finally accepts to marry Julio but tells him she will always love Pablo. Juancho shows up at the hotel and carry out their plan. He tells Pablo that Cresencio is marrying Ana Perla off the following day. The wedding will place in Eleazer hometown. He offers to take Pablo there. Veronica sets the table and go in to call Martin. She enters and sees Nancyiaga on top of Martin kissing him. She asks him how he could do this to her and cries. Virginia returns home and runs into Jorge she thanks him for staying with her. Jorge wants to speak with Daniel to know the truth. He tells her if Veronica lied to them, she will pay the consequence. But if she said the truth, Virginia will be one to pay. Jorge leaves and Virginia says that is if nothing happened to him first. She smiles and says people die unexpectedly.
The doctor confirm Matilde’s death, Magdalena wonders what happen. She just went out, she decides to call. Veronica gets angry at Martin but he tells her he doesn’t know what happen. She doesn’t believe him; he turns to Nancyiaga and asks her what she gave him to drink. Nancyiaga denies it, Martin gets aggressive. She starts shaking her to tell the truth to Veronica and her cup falls in the process. Veronica takes it Martin tells her she gave him something to drink from it. Joaquin runs into his children in town. Polo doesn’t understand what is happening. His grandfather says Joaquin did something bad to his mother. Nancyiaga refuses to answer Veronica and wants to leave. Veronica holds her back and demand to know what she gave to her husband to drink. Veronica tells Nancyiaga her silent confirm that Martin is telling the truth. She asks Nancyiaga to leave her house, Nancyiaga tells Martin she loves him and tries to hug him. Martin pushes her away and asks her to leave his house. He doesn’t want to have anything to do with her anymore. Veronica apologizes to Martin for not trusting him. Joaquin assures his children that he didn’t do anything that is being accused of. He tells them he loves them very much and will never do such a thing to their mother. Magdalena tries to call Veronica but she doesn’t pick. She decides to call Jorge to inform him about Matilde’s death.

Pablo believes Juancho lies and follows him on horse. Juancho says to himself that Manuel will surely pay a lot for this favor. Ana Perla goes to church to pray for the soul of Pablo to rest in peace. Jorge informs his family about Matilde’s death. Virginia pretends to cries, Salma doesn’t she is only worry about her son Emiliano. Jorge leave and Salma asks Virginia not to worry about Matilde’s death. She was always meddling into people business and defending Veronica. Virginia smiles with satisfaction. Raymunda informs her children about her intention to divorce Joaquin. Blanquita assures her that their father loves her. Raymunda tells her she knows nothing about love. Nancyiaga takes her anger on the green grass. Emiliano wonders what wrong with her. She tells their plan to separate Veronica and Martin didn’t work. Magdalena calls Veronica to inform her that Matilde’s died of heart attack. Veronica breaks down but Martin quickly rushes to console her. Crescencio returns home with Ana Perla. He hope Manuel did what he asks of him, Manuel tells him yes. Crescencio informs them that she is getting married with Julio. Polo tells him Ana Perla will only marry Pablo. Ana Perla tells him it won’t be possible because Manuel killed him. Pablo follows Juancho on a wild goose chase. Cresencio asks Raymunda to get a wedding gown for Ana Perla. Ana Perla reminds him she wanted to use her mother’s gown. Crescencio says her mother was pure but she isn’t.
Veronica feels Matilde’s death is too suspicious. She is sure Virginia killed her. Daniel tells Virginia he is so sure she killed Matilde and assures her he will investigate. When he gets all his evidence he will sell the information to Veronica. Crescencio tells Julio he gives him his permission to marry Ana Perla. He informs Manuel that from tomorrow Julio will be working at the mine. Veronica informs Martin that Matilde herself told her that Virginia cause her accident. She confronted Virginia and threatens to send her to jail. Veronica feels responsible for Matilde’s death. Martin suggests they return to Mexico and informs Jorge. Botel informs Emiliano about Matilde’s death. The priest tries to convince Cresencio to change his mind about marrying Ana Perla to Julio. But it is just a waste of time; Ana Perla reminds Julio that she doesn’t love him. He agrees but she will gradually learn how to love him. He promises to take care of her child like his. Veronica tells Emiliano that Matilde is dead and tries to hug him but he asks her not to touch her. Pablo finally realized it is only a set up. Ana Perla is getting dressed for her wedding.
She doesn’t want to apply any make up. Juancho confirms that Manuel asks him to send him away from Mina Escondida. Ana Perla and Julio are getting married in Mina Escondida. Julio is already in the church, the priest tries to make him change his mind. Ana Perla walks down the aisle, but I thought Cresencio is supposed to hand her over. The priest cleans her tears, Pablo heads back to Mina Escondida on the horse. The priest start the wedding celebration, he informs them about their respective role as husband and wife. Blanquita tries to prevent the weeding but Manuel stops her. The priest asks Julio if accept Ana Perla, Julio says yes. He asks the same question to Ana Perla but she hesitates, the priest repeats the question. Before she can answer Pablo enter the church with the horse. He yells never, Ana Perla will never marry another man so far he is alive.
