Veronica wonders why her father shows up after Magdalena confesses to her that she is her mother. Aaron and his brother drag Magdalena to their car at gun point and speed off. Pierre shows all his French skills to Claudia back at the beach. Virginia tells Emiliano she doesn’t like seeing him arguing with Salma. She wants to talk to her but Emiliano prefers to do it. She agrees and prefers to concentrate on their upcoming wedding. She can’t wait to his wife. Botel and Martin join Veronica; Martin notices her anxiety and asks her what happen. Botel also asks of Magdalena, Veronica tells him she hasn’t seen her. Martin wonders why she is so anxious if she hasn’t spoken to Magdalena. She informs them about the conversation she had with Aaron. Botel confirms that Aaron is indeed her father. Botel tells them he is a very dangerous man, Martin asks the secretary to check at the reception. Botel decides to call the police but Veronica suggests the check the security cameras. Matilde brings some items to Ana Perla at the hospital and consoles her. Just at that moment Pablo is being wheeled to surgery, he asks her for forgiveness. Aaron and his brother tie Magdalena up and threaten to take away what she loves the most. The security cameras confirm that Magdalena was indeed kidnapped by Aaron. Veronica feels guilty for what happen to her. Botel decides to call Ado.
Veronica prefers they call Aaron first to know his whereabouts. Virginia informs Salma that she was able to settle things with Emiliano. Salma hope she was able to convince him that Veronica doesn’t deserve the inheritance. She tells her no, she rather promises to make her change her mind. Salma refuses and still believes Veronica doesn’t deserve anything. Cresencio doesn’t like the clothes Ana Perla is wearing, especially since she got them from Veronica. Matilde manages to soften his heart and he tells her she is different from the other outsiders. He doesn’t understand how come Veronica is so rebellious if she was raised by her. Matilde reminds him that everyone is responsible for the decision they make and his Manuel is a typical example. Virginia begs Salma and assures her she is only doing it because Emiliano threatens to end their engagement. Virginia asks her not to worry. They will find a way to prevent Veronica from getting a share of the inheritance. Martin and Botel tries to convince Veronica that calling Aaron to set him set isn’t a good ideas. Jorge shows up and she rushes into his arm to hug him.

Veronica tells him even though she doesn’t want to have anything to do with her. She also can’t abandon her especially now that she is in danger. Jorge wants to know what happen to Magdalena. Veronica tells him she was kidnapped by her father. Jorge also informs her about clement visits. Aaron tells Magdalena about his intention to extort money from Veronica. Veronica apologies to Jorge for showing up unexpectedly. He asks her to stay away from his son and the rest of the family. Jorge tells her she is his daughter and he loves her. he was a bit upset about what happen with Emiliano. Moreover she herself decided to distance herself from the family. She fails to send them fax or communicate with them but Veronica tells him it is not true. She send him several fax, she doesn’t understand why he never received them. Cresencio takes his drugs and insists on seeking justice for his grandson. Ana Perla asks him to forget about what happen, Manuel is recovering.
Pablo has already received his punishment since he may not paint anymore. Aaron continues to haunt Magdalena. He tells her he was able to convince Veronica that she is to blame for what happen. He assures her Veronica hates her more than ever. As soon as he succeeds in getting his money from Veronica, he will kill her. Magdalena swear she will kill him he ever touch her daughter. Jorge and Veronica make peace. she has always brought peace into his life. Botel and Martin join them and inform Veronica everything is ready to trap Aaron. Jorge doesn’t want her to put her life at risk. Martin tells him she offers to take the bait. Daniel informs Mariana and her mother that Pablo surgery was successful. He however can’t confirm whether he will able to paint again or not until he starts rehabilitation. Ado joins them and goes over the plan with Veronica. he wants her to set up a meeting in a café. Martin tells her if Aaron want to take her somewhere. She should accept and follow him calmly. He and the police will be close enough to monitor their moves. Cresencio and Mariana have a confrontation in the hospital. he promise to make Pablo pay.
He has Ana Perla and Julio to testify against Pablo. she reminds him she was also present and it Manuel was the one who shot Pablo first. She assures him if he dares to press charges against Pablo. She herself will make sure Manuel follow him in jail. Ana Perla informs Crescencio she just found out that Manuel was the first person to shoot Pablo. He tells her he doesn’t matter and informs her she is testifying against Pablo. She asks him not to count on her especially now that she knows the truth. Veronica makes the call to Aaron and set up ask him to meet with her. Aaron tells Magdalena that Veronica fell into his trap and warns her not to do anything foolish. Salma and Nicolas spend more time together in Cancun. Virginia informs Emiliano she was able to convince Salma to accept Jorge decision. He thanks her but he hopes she defended him because she also believes it is the right things to do. She quickly changes the subject and Mariana calls to interrupt them. Martin and the rest watch from a distance as Aaron arrives at the café to meet with Veronica. She soon joins him; he tells her she looks nervous. she tells him it is obvious and reminds him he is a stranger to her.
She quickly directs the conversation on Magdalena. Mariana tries to convince Pablo’s mother not to let Pablo go the police. She admits that Pablo is innocent but he will put Daniel’s job at risk. Just as predicted Aaron offers to take Veronica to Magdalena. Joaquin assures Ireri and others that Manuel isn’t dead. Ireri is gad that Manuel is far away from them. Speaking of the devil, Ana Perla goes in to see her brother. He warns her to stay away from Pablo if not he will kill him. Martin shows up at the place where Aaron took Veronica to. Ado gives him some instructions on phone. Aaron informs Magdalena he has a surprise for her and leads Veronica in. Veronica quickly rushes to her make it obvious that already knew each other. Aaron pushes her on the bed and point the gun at them.
