Virginia tells Claudia she thought she will stay in Mina Escondida especially for her music career. Claudia admits that there are a lot of thing that attracted her in Mina Escondida. However her life and other business are in Mexico including Emiliano. Virginia tells her Emiliano is not in the office and suggests they have tea together. Matilde walks into Veronica’s room and sees her in that condition; she hesitates for a moment then walks towards her. Veronica hugs her and tells her how happy she is to see her. Martin watches them from the door and smile. Ana Perla and Pablo go to their usual spot by the river, they start kissing. Matilde reproaches Veronica for not informing her family about her condition. Veronica tells her Jorge would have done anything to help her but it is a bit complicated. Matilde asks what happen in her marriage, Martin hides and eavesdrops on their conversation. Veronica tells her Martin is the only man she ever loved, but that love also destroyed her. Ana Perla has been standing for I don’t know long so Pablo can draw her, but she feels a bit tired. Pablo decides to massages her back and it turns into kissing her neck. Martin enters Veronica’s room and assures her he didn’t bring Matilde to please his conscience but to make her happy. He introduces the Neurologist from Mexico to her. Daniel comes into the room and Martin does the introduction.
The doctor refers to Veronica as Mrs. San Telmo, but she tells him she is no more Mrs. San Telmo. Veronica tells the doctor about her headache but doesn’t want to be sedated anymore. The neurologist quickly turns to look at Daniel for an explanation. Martin confesses to Matilde that Demetrio is his brother; Veronica got to know about it and refuses to forgive him. Aaron shows up at Magdalena hotel room again, but this time with a rose. Magdalena refuses to accept it, he confesses to her that their daughter is still alive and starts smiling. Pablo is shirtless on top of Ana Perla by the river, kissing her all over. The neurologist examines Veronica and commends Daniel for doing a good job. However she didn’t need to be sedated, Magdalena tells Aaron she doesn’t believe him but he assures her it is true. He takes a seat and asks her to serve him a drink if she wants to know all the details. The latest couple in Mina Esondida has a moment, Ireri shows up at the shore and kisses Uspin shirtless back. Manuel steals meat pie from a vendor, he sees his grandfather and walks pass him. Cresencio stops him, and reprimand him about it but he denies it.

Cresencio assures him he feels bad about it but it is the only way to make him learn. Cresencio hands over money to him but Manuel asks him if he is going apologies to him or give him money for the day.
Cresencio tells her he always did whatever Manuel requested without asking anything in return but things have change. Aaron is determined to torture poor Magdalena, but for the love of her daughter she is willing to endure it. He reminds her not to mention anything to Botel if not he is a dead man. Claudia laments to Virginia she lost Martin friendship and her job. Virginia tells her Veronica always get what she asks men to do. Virginia manages to get Claudia tells her that Martin married Veronica because he believe she is responsible for his brother death. Martin drinks his sorrows away when the priest joins him. He laments to him that everything is going wrong with his wife. He had never begged a woman this way in his entire life; the priest tells him they need time to heal their wound. He tells the pries he is running out of patience, even if he gives all the time in the world. It won’t be enough for Veronica. The priest tells him she is hurt but she still loves him. She needs time to think and assures him love always prevails, Martin tells him he told her he won’t insist anymore. Ana Perla wonders what Pablo may think of her after their love making, he assures her he loves her and this is one of most memorable moment in his life. Virginia assures Claudia she will find another man, Claudia tells her she has eye for Emiliano. Virginia tells to look elsewhere, she is already dating Emiliano. Martin returns to Veronica’s room and find the place empty, Daniel informs him that she is already gone. Daniel tells Martin the Neurologist told her she is no more at risk so she left.
Martin asks him if she went to Mexico, but he doesn’t say anything, Alfredo joins them and Martin welcome him with the news. Alfredo thinks she is still in the village and they both go out in search, leaving Daniel behind. He also goes in search of Veronica because he doesn’t want to have any problem with Virginia. Salma joins Jorge in his office, he tells her he is writing a fax to Veronica to check on her. Virginia joins them and informs him she also intends to write to Veronica and offers to send Jorge fax. He initially refuses but Salma and Virginia convince him to do otherwise. Virginia takes Jorge fax and tears it into pieces. Pablo is all happy about making love to Ana Perla. Teo tells him things are not good between him and Blanquita, Martin barges in and asks him where is Veronica. He demands to know where Pierre is hiding his wife. Pablo and Teo tries to calm down but nothing, until Veronica and Matilde come out. She asks everyone to excuse them so they can speak privately. He tells her he was worried she left without even saying a word to him. She reminds him of his promise not to insist on asking for forgiveness.
He agrees but he loves her and wants to take care of her as his wife. It is his responsibilities towards her, Pierre shows up and Martin tells him not to be so excited. Veronica isn’t staying in his hotel for long, Nancyiaga reads Julio’s future. She tells him he will have money and be with the woman he loves. He gets so excited and asks her how soon it will happen, she tells him she doesn’t know. Cresencio comes into Ana Perla’s room and praises her for being an obedient granddaughter. She instantly feels guilty, and starts crying. Botel gets back to the hotel room and notices the empty bottle of alcohol. Veronica reminds Martin it was her idea to stay in Pierre hotel. Pierre advises him not behave this way in front of Veronica. Martin asks him to leave he wants to talk to his wife alone, Pierre leaves and they continue with their argument. Martin tries once more time to convince Veronica to give him one last chance.
