Veronica tells him he is going crazy. Martin tells her not to lie to him he knows she dated many men including his brother Demetrio. Veronica angrily slaps him and calls him stupid. she demands to know who told him that. Salma plays the victim. which makes Jorge apologies to her. she tells him Virginia is like a daughter to her and him as well. she tells him he is only blinded by Veronica. Virginia tells Emiliano, Daniel only offers to help her. he disagrees because he saw something else. she asks him to apologies to Daniel but he refuses. Veronica tries to leave but Martin stops her. she tells him she thought he was going to tell the truth. she didn’t know he was going to offend her. she demand he tells her who told him. she asks him if Demetrio send him a letter to inform him about their relationship. alone in her room, Salma watches a picture. she reproaches herself for losing her daughter. Martin and Veronica continue to argue. he wants her to admit to something that she didn’t do. he insists it is not with Demetrio only that she had an affair. but with many men but he is only interested in what happen with his brother. he wouldn’t care about her past if his brother was not included on the list. she pushes him and start insulting him.
Martin then grabs her and hugs her tightly. Julio tells Ana Perla he doesn’t think Pablo will make her happy. Veronica manages to free herself from Martin. they continue with the same old story. she let him understand that he asking her for forgiveness doesn’t change the fact that he thinks she is a slut and walks out of him. Julio cries over his broken heart. Veronica start arranging her stuff into her suitcase when Martin joins her. he admits to her that he also told the priest about it. it was under confession so he could not tell her. he still insists she admits that she betrayed his brother. she tells him she won’t admit to something she did not do just to please his conscience. she tells him she never dated his brother. Demetrio must be in pain in his grave at the thought of what Martin is doing to her in his name. she tells him that what he did to her is UNFORGIVABLE. Manuel spies at the San Telmo house at night. Veronica walks pass Martin with her suitcase. he refuses to let her leave without admitting what she did. she tells him the only mistake she made was to fall in love with him. he angrily tells her he won’t let her leave she doesn’t admit it.
she pushes him away and tells him Demetrio was her friend. he was like a brother to her. Martin shakes his head. she tells him she is going to Mexico to file for divorce. he refuses to her go and they start struggling again. Manuel enters the San Telmo’s house. hears the noise. peep through the window and witness their fight. Nancyiaga consoles poor heartbroken Julio and assure his there is nothing like impossible love. Pierre shows up at that time with a new dress for her performance. Manuel poor his alcohol on the wood and bench he used to block the San Telmo’s door. he smile, and smoke, then throws the rest of the cigarette to set the whole place in fire. Claudia agrees to date Pierre. they share their first kiss, leading to her bed. Pierre on top caressing her revealing tommy.
Cresencio reads the letter and informs Raymunda that there will be no marriage now. as Ana Perla possible boyfriend is busy with his studies at the moment. Ana Perla and Blanquita listen smile at the news. Martin and his wife continue with their argument, struggle and insult. until they notices their entire house is on fire. Martin opens the bedroom’s door and there flame all over the place. Martin hides her behind him to protect her. Matilde prays for her little girl Veronica. Martin closes the door, poor water on the bed sheet. they use it to cover themselves so they can walk through the fire. he leads the way but unfortunately, Veronica get hurts and collapse. Martin calls her several time but she doesn’t response. the church bell start ringing continuously. Joaquin informs them something must be wrong and heads out. Julio rushes in and informs them that Martin’s house is on fire. Martin tries to revive Veronica but nothing. she still unconscious with blood all over her. she received a blow on her head. he tries to remove the block on her but it is too heavy for him. meanwhile the fire is getting stronger.
he finally manages to move the block. Pierre and Claudia enjoys in a bubble bath with good wine just like what Claudia likes. he tells her the benefit of dating him and she is all happy. Nancyiaga tries to go to the house but stepped on something and get hurt. Martin walks out of the house holding Veronica unconscious’s body. he shout to everyone to move back because the house is about to explode, and it surely does. he puts her body on the floor and begs her to wake up. all the villagers help to quench the fire. the priest and Ireri help Martin with Veronica. Nancyiaga is only worried about her patron. she tries to clean his wound, but he refuses. Pierre opens Claudia’s door and meets with Teo. they stands at the door to talk about the incident at the San Telmo. Claudia opens her door , and calls Pierre my love. she quickly cover herself when she notices Teo. she almost faint when she hears about the incident. Martin shouts for a doctor, and begs his wife to be strong until Daniel comes. Martin is breathing from the oxygen while Veronica is unconscious at Botel clinic. Daniel informs Martin that it is too early to give a diagnostic on the blow Veronica received on her head. However she may not come out of the coma.
