Veronica tries to console Martin, but he turns away and looks so tense. she asks him why did his brother killed himself. Martin tries to explain when Manuel from nowhere storms into their house with a bottle of whisky in his hand. without realizing Martin presence and threatens Veronica. Martin slowly takes his fencing sword. Virginia wants to know the meaning of what Nancyiaga told Emiliano. he refuses to explain to her and remind her it is something between him and Nancyiaga and walks away. Martin closes the door so hard that it startles Manuel. he points his sword at Manuel. Veronica begs him not to put it down. Manuel tells him he is not afraid of him or his toy sword. to prove him wrong, Martin uses it to cut his hand. he point it at his throat. Manuel now look like he is afraid of the toy. Martin asks him to move away from his wife. after Manuel leave, he hugs his wife to comfort her. Nancyiaga is determined to go Mina Escondida. Uspin tells her it is late. Emiliano shows up and tells her they need to talk. she tells him she is love with someone else. but as the elders said they will definitely meet again and hugs him. Cresencio fears that Pablo will take Ana Perla to the city. Pablo assures him he won’t.
Manuel angrily search for a knife in the house. he says to himself that no one will catch him unaware again and storms out of the house. Cresencio asks Pablo to get ready. he will also around to check on his granddaughter. Pablo assures him he is ready to work hard whether in the mine or the hotel. so he can provide a good life to her. Cresencio then orders Raymunda to bring in Ana Perla. Martin promises to always protects his wife. she kiss him passionately and unbutton his shirt. they head towards the room to make more babies. Cresencio finally gives his permission for Ana Perla and Pablo to date but under certain condition. Manuel is all drunk at the canteen. he orders for another bottle. they refuse to serve him because he is too drunk. he then removes his knife and hold it to Ireri’s throat. he holds her as an hostage, and threatens to kill her if they don’t serve him.
Blanquita also get permission from her parent to go out with Teo. Cresencio informs them he had his surgery. the doctor says he is perfectly fine now. Medel brings him a bottle but hands it over to Ireri. Manuel hands are busy. she uses it to hit his head when she notices he is not watching. Emiliano informs Virginia they are going back to the city the following day.
she is happy he will be away from Veronica Claudia and Nancyiaga. after making more babies, Martin tries to talk to Veronica but she prevents him. Claudia visits the San Telmo’s mansion. Veronica surely isn’t happy to see her. Claudia tells her she came to talk to Martin concerning her job. Veronica informs her he is at Magdalena’s place. Veronica reproaches her for staying in the village despite Martin warning. Veronica tells her she is not going to discuss her marriage with her. Claudia then spill the beans. she finally lets Veronica know that she is living in Martin’s dead brother Demetrio’s house. Veronica can’t believe what Claudia just said. Claudia seems to enjoy her reaction. she tries to explain further but Veronica refuses to listen. she now realized that Demetrio is the brother he was talking about last night. Claudia then takes her seat. to add more to Veronica’s pain. she advises Veronica to leave Martin. he doesn’t trust her enough to tell her the truth. Veronica asks her to leave, Claudia again tells her the reason Martin married her.
Manuel joins his grandfather and Ana Perla at the river. they notices his state and asks him what happen. he rudely tells them they don’t care about what happen to him. his grandfather he prefers Ana Perla. Daniel angrily grabs Virginia’s hand at the reception. He reproaches her for leaving without telling him. she asks him to let go of her hand. she informs him she left a letter for him. the priest advises Pablo to treat Ana Perla well. Manuel tells his grandfather Ana Perla will even do something more disappointing. she will get pregnant before she even get married. Cresencio asks him not to bother Pablo anymore. Manuel makes is Clair to Cresencio that he doesn’t care if he dies. the old man doesn’t understand his behavior. his granddaughter is there to console him. Veronica goes to Magdalena’s place but she is not there. she decides to look for Martin. the latest couple are left all by themselves in Raymunda’s house.
Manuel shows up at Ireri’s house. He tries to rape her but Nancyiaga shows up and scares him away. Blanquita informs Teo that her parent gave them the go ahead to date. Martin happily returns home. he informs his wife that Magdalena just left for Mexico. she asks him why he didn’t tell her Demetrio was his brother. Jorge and Salma argue about Emiliano and Virginia. Salma once again defends Virginia. Jorge doesn’t understand why she always defend Virginia. he asks her why did she insists they adopt Virginia. ever since Virginia came to their house. she has made it clear that she prefers her over Veronica. he demands she tells him the truth. Virginia blames Emiliano for making them miss the boat. he asks her to stop complaining. they will only stay for a night and leave to his room. Daniel shows up at the reception and kiss Virginia. she gets angry and slaps him. he also gets angry and grabs her violently and threatens her. Emiliano sees them and asks to know what is happening. Martin tells Veronica he tries to explain everything to her last night but she didn’t allow him. she tells him he should have done that long ago. thanks to Claudia she now knows everything. even this house belongs to Demetrio. they start arguing until martin tells her she and his brother were lovers.
