the sketch artist shows the pictures to Magdalena. she is shocked to see that her lost daughter may look exactly like Veronica. Martin wants to go to the church but the priest advises him not to. Martin insists on going and asks Lorenzo to help him. Botel thinks Magdalena intentionally describes Veronica’s features. she got attached to h. Martin gives hopes to the sick miners at the church. Veronica asks him to go back home but he won’t listen. he asks Lorenzo to take him to mine. Claudia hasn’t reach Mina Escondida and she has started complaining. especially when she gets to know they have to cross the river with a small boat. Veronica follows Martin to the mine and asks him to go home. Cresencio asks her to leave because her presence will bring bad luck. Veronica insists on taking her husband home. in the process of push her away, Martin falls and his wound opens up. he starts bleeding again. Martin is home, fighting for his life once more. Nancyiaga enters and asks what the white did her boss. Veronica tries to explain what happen to her and asks her for help. Nancyiaga tells her Martin will die because of her. Veronica loses her temper and slaps her very hard. Alfredo informs Botel about the situation in Mina Escondida. Veronica apologizes to Nancyiaga for slapping her. now they are both calm and want to cure Martin. Veronica cries and kisses unconscious Martin and feels responsible for his situation. Nancyiaga returns with a bowl and asks Veronica to go get some leaves. she performs some ritual on Martin. did Virginia have her heart check? Well I don’t know but she is now home. sleeping peacefully like a baby while Jorge and Salma discuss about her situation and the crisis she just had. Veronica tells the doctor she can donate her blood to Martin they have the same blood type. Botels has all the equipment so Father Juan decides to go and bring them.

Pablo accompanies Claudia to Mina Esocndida she wanted to urinate so he brought her to the canteen. Manuel is also there drinking. after Claudia and Pablo leave he decides to follow them but the bartender stops him. Manuel get angry break a bottle and tries to stab him but the old man is stronger than him. he holds him and throws him out of the bar. Father Juan explains to Nancyiaga that Veronica is giving her blood to Martin. Nancyiaga tells the priest now it will be impossible to separate them. Veronica caresses her husband’s face as he receive the transfusion. Manuel shows up at the mine drunk again. this time Cresencio get angry and informed all the workers that from now on Joaquin is their new administrator. Manuel get angry and wants to prove to his grandfather that he can be responsible. he rushes inside the mine ignoring his grandfather plea. he starts digging furiously. Joaquin tries to stop him but he asks him to leave him alone and threaten to hit him with the hammer. Magdalena agrees to see a psychiatrist and she is having her first section. Manuel keeps digging and breaks a pipe. the contaminated water rushes out and pours on them. Veronica wakes up and hear someone voice. she thinks it is Nancyiaga but the person says no. she sits up and sees Claudia massaging Martin feet.
