Martin goes to the priest and confesses that he married the woman who is responsible for his brother’s death. so he can have his revenge. the priest asks him how sure is he that she the one. he says he is very sure. he has her V. Pendant Necklace. her name is Veronica Prado Castelo. Virginia tells Salma that Martin and Veronica arrived safely. Salma tells her she doesn’t approve her friendship with Claudio. Virginia notices Emiliano at the door. she tells her aunt she doesn’t understand why Veronica didn’t send the fax as she promised. Martin narrates how Veronica and Demetrio met to the priest. Martin tells the priest he told him his secret in confession. so he can’t tell Veronica about it. Ana Perla cries over her broken heart in her room and demands answers. Martin enters the house. he see Veronica holding the V. pendant necklace and questions her about it. she assures him it is hers not Virginia’s. Daniel confronts Virginia about what Salma told him.Martin avoids Veronica in bed once again.

Daniel threatens Virginia to tell her parents that she is faking her sickness. she also threatens to tell everyone he is a corrupt doctor. Veronica returns to her room crying. she wish she knows what is wrong with Martin. Martin is all alone in the wood with a bottle of whisky in hand. Virginia lures Daniel and assures him. she is only interested in Emiliano’s money. they end up making love in the garden. Matilde congratulates Emiliano on his design for the jewelry lines. he tells her it would have been easier if Veronica was working with him. Veronica wonders why he hates her so much. she later runs into Pablo in town. he offers to take her round when she told him Martin doesn’t have time to do so. he informs her that he is meeting a client today. but now he doubt he it would be possible. she advises him not to give up and fight what he believes in. even when it seems to be impossible. Salma offers to accompany Virginia for her checkup but she refuses. Jorge suggests she sees another Cardiologist. Magdalena comes looking for Veronica but she meets Nancyiaga. she asks Nancyiaga to informs Veronica she came looking for her. after she leave Nanacyiaga says she is not Veronica’s messenger.
Pablo sees Ana Perla and Blanquita and runs after them. she tells him he has nothing to explain to her and leave. Blanquita tells him he has any self-esteem he should leave Mina Escondida. Emiliano tells his mother not worry he will go with Virginia to the hospital. Father Juan also comes home looking for Martin but meets nancyiaga. he asks her to be a nice to Veronica even if she doesn’t like her. he leaves she repeat the same thing again Nancyiaga is not a messenger. Montserat proposes to Mariana to go with her to Mina Escondida. Pablo explains to Blanquita that he went to Mexico to end his relationship with his girlfriend.
