Nanciyaga touches Demetrio’s helmet. she remembers him telling her his brother will also like her the same way he does. Claudia informs Virginia that Demetrio is dead. Nanciyaga watches outside the window and sees Demetrio. Claudia begs Virginia not to tell Martin what she just told her. Virginia asks her not to worry but wants her to do her a favor. Blanquita borrows 2 books from Pierre. she asks him if Mariana is Pablo’s wife. Martin surprises Veronica in her office. he asks her to have lunch with him after he is done signing the contract with her uncle. she accepts and tells him she will take him to her favorite place. he asks her what she will do with the money Jorge promise to give her as her wedding gift. she says she rejected it. Martin overhears Jorge tells his secretary to open a new account in Veronica’s name. Emiliano and Martin get into an argument over Veronica. Virginia cries as she walked to her car. she tells her chauffeur she just found out that someone dear to her is dead. she asks him not to tell anyone at home. she cries some more and remembers Demetrio giving her a rose. he also sang singing for her in a fancy restaurant and she sheds more tears. Jorge tells Emiliano to accept that Veronica chose Martin over him.

Mariana comes to the Pierre’s hotel and mistakes Blanquita for a waitress. after Blanquita leaves Mariana complains to Pierre about what is going through in Mina Escondida. Pablo informs informs Ana Perla that he has to go back to the city. he promises her he will be back and asks her to always remember that he loves her. Claudia and Virginia have lunch together. Virginia promise her she will not to tell anything to Martin. once again she tarnishes Veronica’s image in front of Claudia. drunk Claudia tells her that Martin inherited the gold mine from his dead brother Demetrio. Veronica takes Martin to the market for lunch. she orders for taco and tells him she hopes he also like it because it is her favorite. she tells him she prefers a simple wedding. however, her aunt Salma thinks otherwise. she hopes he is ok with the arrangement. Nicolas sees Emiliano drinking in the office. he informs him that Veronica think it is best they don’t work together anymore. Ana Perla tells Blanquita she is sad because Pablo has already left. Martin complains to Alfredo again about Veronica. he tells him she pretended she didn’t want her uncle money. he overheard Jorge instructing his secretary to open an account in Veronica’s name.

Fernandez get angry and holds her neck asking her if she saw him again. she tells him she didn’t because he is dead. Emiliano goes to strip club to drink and confuses a dancer with Veronica. Virginia tells Fernandez she doesn’t understand why Martin hides the fact that Demetrio was his brother to her family. she will definitely find out her only worries is that they don’t find out she had a relationship with Demetrio. Ana Perla dreams she is dancing with Pablo on their wedding day. Mariana, Cresencio and Manuel show up to interrupt them. she suddenly wakes up shouting Pablo’s name. Cresencio walks in her room and asks her who is Pablo. she tells him it was a dream. Virginia tells Fernandez she wants to leave but he asks her to stay a little longer. he presses her head against the pillow and tells her she belong to him. Father Juan informs Botel and Magdalena that Martin has already found a buyer. Magdalena tells him with the money she is can start looking for her daughter.
Father is surprised they have a daughter. she informs him that the child is not for Botel. she and Botel are not married. Martin runs into Virginia and Dr. Fernandez in the hotel corridor. she tells him she came for charity dinner with her Cardiologist and introduce him to Martin. she asks him for his guest list for the engagement party. he tells her he is inviting only Alfredo and Claudia. she is surprise is not inviting his parents and siblings. he informs her they are all dead. Matilde asks Veronica not to worry about what Salma said earlier. Veronica tells her she wishes her mother was here to also enjoy this moment with her. Matilde tells her she will always be there for her. Veronica hugs her and tells her she is like her second mother. Virginia informs Martin she is dating her doctor. she begs him not to tell her parent because he is not as rich as he is. as usual she can’t have a conservation with Martin without talking ill of Veronica.
