Unforgivable Episode 1
Martin is in a small boat with four other men, he is the only one not paddling. I guess he is a customer, very beautiful view I must say. he takes a letter from his pocket and read it. A smiling Veronica rides a horse to the house; Jorge and Salma cuddle in bed. The weather is bad, there is lighting. Virginia slowly descend the staircase, Veronica enters the house and meets Virginia. they exchange greetings and Veronica goes to the kitchen. Matilde is setting the breakfast table, Veronica offer to help her. The men are having some difficulty in controlling the boat. one person falls into the river, Martin tries to save him. Salma and Jorge come downstairs, Virginia takes Salma aside and tells her cousin Veronica is staying home today. Salma tells her not to worry she will take care of that. they are approaching the shore, a young girls hides behind the tree holding a cutlass. Uspin narrates the small town history to Martin, he thanks Martin for saving his life.
Martin asks Uspin for direction to Demetrio Silveira house. Uspin tells him he doesn’t know but shows him where he can asks for further direction. two children are playing in the church compound. the church door opens , the priest and Ana Perla walk out. he thank her for arranging the altar, after Ana Perla and her siblings leaves. the priest watches Martin walking towards the canteen. Martin enters the canteen and asks for Demetrio Silveira. no one responds, he asks if they didn’t hear him. Botel replies that they did but they don’t want to answer him. he asks Martin to go back from where he comes from they don’t like strangers. Martin tells him he won’t go until he find Demetrio Silveira. they get into a fight, the priest enters the canteen and asks Martin to follow him. Virginia make Salma promise her that she won’t tell Jorge about their surprise. she doesn’t want Veronica to find out. Father Juan and Martin talk about Demetrio. Father Juan tells him that Demetrio was very close to him. he knows how much he loves Martin. Martin shows him Demetrio’s letter asking him to get him out of here. Father tells him Demetrio is dead. Matilde tells Salma and Virginia that Emiliano just arrived.

Demetrio started searching for gold with his partner Botel. few weeks before Demetrio found the Gold, he received a letter from her. Martin tells him Demetrio never spoke to him about this woman. the woman told Demetrio she is tired of waiting for his gold money so she has decided to get married. Demetrio could not handle the news so he started drinking and at the end he killed himself. Father tries to console him, he asks Father Juan to take him to his brother’s house. may be he can find something that will lead him to the woman. Salma and Virginia come out to welcome Emiliano. Emiliano holds Virginia hands but as soon as he sees Veronica he approaches her and twirls her around. they both laugh, Father Juan and Martin are in Demetrio house.
The lady with the cutlass enters and asks Martin if he is her new boss. Nanciyaga also narrates her version of the story to Martin. she gave him a box containing Demetrio’s stuffs. they walk in the rain to his grave. she gives him a necklace with a V pendant that Demetrio gave her. Martin kneels on his brother’s grave and cries. he remembers the promise he made to his mother on her dying bed. he looks at the necklace Nanciyaga gave him, He reads the engraving V. Prado Castelo. he now knows the woman surname. all he has to do is to find her first name then make her pay for his brother’s death. Emiliano compliment Veronica and Virginia Prado Castelo on their looks as they go inside the house. Martin cuts a V in his palm with Demetrio’s knife. He rubs the blood on his brother’s grave.
