Fulgencio, furious, tells esthercita that she is exposing them to being ridiculed. Esthercita, tearful, tells him that damian deceived her and that he went after marina reverte. Fulgencio tells hernan that esthercita said something which he doesn’t know if it is true or not. Hernan tells him that esthercita went crazy and said many things but That in fact, he doesn’t really know what she said. Fulgencio tells him that damian abandoned his wedding and took a boat to chase after “the tempest”, although, his interest is not really in catching fish but a woman.
Hernan is surprised. He tells esthercita that he is going to lend her his yacht as a wedding gift, so she can go catch up with damian on “the tempest”. Delfina tells esthercita that damian is not going to like to see her arrive like that to his boat. Esthercita tells her that she didn’t like his having left her standing in order to go after marina either; that, besides that, she is not going to spend her wedding night alone in her bed and that she is sure that damian is going to be pleased to see her; and, as she (delfina) herself always says, the wife’s place is at her husband’s side.
Delfina tells her that is true but it doesn’t mean she should rush out like a madwoman to go look for him in the middle of the night. Damian reproaches marina for not having waited for him before setting sail. She tells him she did not want to spoil his wedding feast, his honeymoon or whatever plans he may have with his wife; that, besides that, she is there to save several people’s jobs. Damian tells her he is there for that reason too but that, besides that, he also loves her and he cannot live without her; that esthercita knows he married her only to keep his word but that he does not love her.
Hernan tells esthercita that damian just doesn’t stop annoying marina, that he harasses her. Esthercita, upset, tells him that that is not true, that it is marina the one who chases after damian; she tells hernan that she is going to prove to damian that she is a real woman and can give him everything he needs but, that she needs him (hernan) to take marina away with him. Hernan tells her that that is precisely what he wants to do. He tells her they (hernan and esthercita) are going to be very good accomplices each one seeking their own happiness. Damian is surprised to see hernan’s yacht and even more so, when he sees esthercita.
She tells him she could not stand being without him so, hernan very kindly offered to take her to him so they could spend their honeymoon together. Damian tells her that that is not a honeymoon cruise ship, that they are working and it is dangerous for her to stay there. Esthercita tells him that if marina can stay, so can she. Hernan tells damian he is going to take marina back with him because he doesn’t think she will want to stay and ruin the newlyweds’ honeymoon. When marina finds out that esthercita is there, she tells damian that she has no business being there so she is going back with hernan.
Damian tells her he loves her and that, as soon as he gets back to port, he is going to divorce esthercita. Marina tells him not to expose her any more to that very uncomfortable situation. Both tell each other how much they love each other and they kiss each other.
