Marina goes to the police precinct and tells damian that she already knows that he didn’t rape esthercita and advises him that to avoid being judged he should ask for esthercita’s hand in marriage. Hernan takes flowers to beatriz to welcome her to the town “nuestra señora del mar”.
Damián throws marina out and tells her not to meddle in his life. Mercedes tells jose that she sent marina to “nuestra señora del mar” to make her fall in love with damian. In jazmin’s room, she tells lazaro that she is not happy. Nereo tells candy that if she is nice to him he will protect her and that nothing bad will happen to her. Jazmin tells lazaro that nereo bought her from a white slavery gang.
Esthercita visits damian in the police precinct and asks him to forgive her for the problem she got him into and makes clear to him that she didn¡t accuse him. Jose tells mercedes that marina thinks that she is beatriz’ daughter and that they love each other as mother and daughter. Esthercita goes to the main square and declares to the people of the town that damian didn’t rape her, that she gave herself to him on her own free will.
Lolo, oso, lagarto, bagre, olinto, lazaro and the locals ask that damian be set free. Valdivia sets him free. Fulgencio tells delfina that he doesn’t want to see esthercita again, that he disowns her and that he will make damian pay for it.
