Shakira and Mana to Feature in an Upcoming Telenovela!
Mexican band Mana and Shakira have been confirmed to interpret the opening theme song titled “Mi Verdad” “My truth”, for the upcoming telenovela “Sueno De Amor” “Dream of Love” and could perform live in the coming months in Mexico.
“Four months ago, I started working on this project, I hope you like it. It is the first time Shakira sings for a telenovela, so this project brings me a lot of joy” Juan stated in an interview.
“Dream of Love” tells the story of Esperanza Guerrero (Betty Monroe) a single mother of two, Pedro 18 years and Patricia 17 years. Esperanza is cheerful, brave and tenacious, her dream is to build a school to educate the less privileged.
“Dream of Love” premieres in Mexico on February 22, replacing “Rather be dead the Lichita”.
