Father Jeronimo thanks Renato and Silvia for all their help, they insist he press charge against Severiano but he refuses. Adelina holds Raymundo’s picture and recalls the confrontation she had with Roberta the night he was murdered. The priest meets his niece crying in the chapel and tells him she broke up with Christobal because Valeria is expecting his child. Adelina break up with Joaquin, she asks him to return to his wife. Joaquin asks what she is talking about, she asks him to understand that she is no different from his wife. Joaquin tells her no matter what she did in her past, he loves her, but she tells him he has no idea of the mistakes she made in her life. Dominga tells Melesio she heard Adelina saying Raymundo’s death was her fault. Melesio tells her it seems they all have a shadow from their past and suggests they let the death sleep in peace. They see Lola with her suitcase, then get up to welcome her. Tomas shows up at the church and tells the priest he want to make his confession.
Aldonza comes home crying and inform Adelina, Lola and Dominga that Christobal and Valeria are expecting a child. Tomas confesses all his sin to the priest. She informs them about her intention to divorce him, they all ask her to think twice about it but she tells him it is her final decision. Valeria tells Candela about the scandal she created at the bus station to separate Aldonza and Christobal. Candela smiles and asks for more details, Christobal then join them and confront Valeria. Candela tries to intervene but he asks her not to, it is between him and Valeria, she excuses herself and leaves the room. Valeria almost slap Christobal when he tells her he is not sure her child is even his. She gets aggressive and asks him to get out of her room, she even threatens to hit with her jewelry box. He tells her to get something clear, and let her know that even if Aldonza refuses to marry him, he will never marry her and leave her room. Best confession ever so far, the priest reaction when Tomas confesses that he had a relationship with Prudencia, very funny. He asks Tomas if he means him and Prudencia, then Tomas reply yes everything, everything.

Aldonza tells Renato to proceed with the divorce process.Lola comes to work and sees Mari at the counter, Irma informs her Mari will be working with them and she hopes they can get along.
Lola asks her not to worry, because she quits, Mari smiles and makes the sign of the cross. Veronica informs Emmanuel she is also taking part in the next competition, she kiss him and leave. Lola sits near the fountain when Pato joins her with a bouquet of flowers. She thinks they flowers are meant for Mari so she takes it and destroy them. Pato yells at her to stop and tells her they are for her. He assures her he has no interest in Mari, she asks him for forgive her. Pato takes one flowers on the ground asks her to be his girlfriend, she also takes one, joins them and accepts, then kiss him. Candela meets Severiano at the gate on her way out with a bouquet of flower. He tells her it meant for Valeria, she informs him Prudencia is in the house with her daughter and let him know she is going to inform Humberto about Valeria’s pregnancy. Severiano gets to Valeria’s door in time to hear Valeria and her mother taking about Christobal not being the father of her baby. Severiano drops the bouquet, then enters the room to confront them. He asks them who the father of her child is; Valeria says nothing, he yells at her to reveal the identity of her baby father.
