Valeria runs to her father and begs him for forgiveness. Don Camilo interrupts Emmanuel and Lola and gives them the bad news. Renato tells Pato he wonders how the law firm will become without Silvia. Pato tells him and Mari and informs him about her intention to resign. The ambulance comes to take Humberto away. since Valeria is his daughter she is allowed to ride with them. Aldonza suggests they follow them but Valeria refuses. She blames Aldonza for what happened. Mari calls Emmanuel but he tells her his father Humberto just had an accident so it is not the best time to talk. Aldonza, Lola, Emmanuel and Don Camilo head over to the clinic. Javier hides and watch everything. Mari is still lamenting about all the evil things she did but Irma listen. She assures her they will end up forgiving her. Prudencia joins Valeria at the hospital and Valeria. She swear she didn’t mean to kill him it was an accident. Prudencia asks her to calm down and tell her what happen. Valeria tells her she went to Aldonza place to finally get her out of her way. Her father showed up from nowhere and put himself in front of her. when she saw him it was too late, there was nothing she could do. she swear it was that stupid Aldonza she wanted to kill. Since they got here they doctor haven’t say anything to her. Valeria asks her what will happen if he dies. Aldonza decides to stay outside the hospital. Emmanuel asks her to inform Christobal and goes inside with Lola. Javier also shows up at the hospital and tries to eavesdrop to get more information. Christobal soon joins Aldonza outside the hospital. she tells him Lola and Emmanuel is already inside. He wonders why she decided to stay outside, she said because of Valeria. She then explains to him what happen, she get sacred as the thought that Valeria wanted to kill her. Lola informs Pato about Humberto’s accident, he and Renato decide to join them in the hospital. Flavia tries to convince Joaquin to give her one more chance but he refuses. He tells her he doesn’t love and decided to divorce her. she asks him to think about what will happen to their son. He has decided to let her stay in the house with Ray. Christobal tells Aldonza he hopes Humberto survive. if not he doesn’t want to imagine the guilt that Valeria will feel for the rest of her life. Aldonza changes the subject and ask him about his father. He tells her they both don’t live in the same house, he asks his mother and she told him she didn’t know about the rape. She asks what he thinks; he tells her the truth is he doesn’t trust her anymore. Whether she was aware or not, to him Candela will always be his father accomplice in everything. He tells her once they are finally divorce, he will leave Santa Lucia.

Pato tells her he also lost his associate, his friend, the woman he love and his secretary. The police inspectors show up at El Santuario to inspect the crime scene and Valeria’s car and Don Camilo explains to them what happen. The doctor informs Prudencia and the rest about Humberto condition, Javier is still around gathering all the information. The police inspectors join them and ask to take Aldonza statement. The police also ask Emmanuel for this version of what happen, Valeria sees them and return to inform her mother. Prudencia suggests they use the exit door and run away. Javier reports to Severiano about Humberto accident, Severiano asks him to return and watch them. When Javier leaves, Severiano says to himself after everything the siblings will be left with no land. The doctor brings the police inspectors in Humberto’s room to questions Valeria.
They opens the door and realized they are no there, the doctor then show them the exit door. Emmanuel goes into Humberto’s room and apologies to him for the way he treated him. He tells him how important he is to him and wishes he will be present when he marries Lola. He goes on his knees and cries and start praying, Humberto slowly moves his hand. Christobal informs Candela about Humberto’s condition, Candela immediately start blaming Severiano. Christobal tells her this time it was his own daughter and tells him what happen. Javier returns to the hospital, he accidental runs into Renato but apologies. The doctor asks them to go home and return the following; they won’t be allowed to see Humberto tonight. Candela confesses to Dominga that Valeria’s child isn’t Christobal, it is rather Abelardo. Valeria also slept with Severiano, Javier calls Severiano and gives him an update. Severiano immediately shows up at the hospital and convince the doctor to let him see Humberto. The police inspector catches Valeria and Prudencia in the car trying to escape. Valeria opens the door and the inspector informs her she is under arrest for attempting to kill her father. Valeria tells him the only person responsible is Aldonza. The doctor takes Severiano in Humberto’s room; a nurse shows up and informs him he is needed. The doctor leaves him alone in the room; Severiano closes the door and goes for a pillow to strangle him.
