She tells him she was ashamed, moreover his father told her no one will believed because of her mother’s reputation. Christobal blames himself for not protecting her from his father. He asks her to forgive him because he did not know how to protect her and hugs her. Uriel and his family visit Humberto at the clinic to confirm what Tomas told them. Humberto tells them yes it is true, and asks them to forgive his daughter for hiding it from them. Irma wants to know what will happen to the child, she hopes Valeria doesn’t intend to abort it. Humberto tells them she hasn’t decided it yet but she is thinking of doing it. He asks them not to worry he will make sure she doesn’t end her pregnancy. Irma tells him if his daughter doesn’t want the child, she and Uriel are ready to adopt him. Humberto tells them it is too early to make such a decision. He believes once the child is born Valeria will change. She will learn how to take her responsible and performs her duties as a mother. Christobal wants to go and confront his father but Aldonza asks him to calm down.
Christobal tells her he can’t; his own father can raped her when he knows she is the love of his life. She tries to stop him and asks him not to tell anything to his father but he tells her it is too late and runs off. She goes after him begging to stop but too late he speed off. She yells at Emmanuel to go after him because he may end up killing his father. Melesio informs Severiano that Emiliano refused to supply them with the food and vaccines for the horse because he Severiano didn’t approve it. Severiano asks him what does it expect, well Melesio warns him the animal will end up dead if they don’t receive the food and drugs. Christobal shows up and walks directly to Severiano. Without saying anuthing he punches him four times until Melesio and the other worker pull him away. Melesio yells at him that Severiano is his father; Christobal tells him he is not his father. This man is dead to him, and leaves; Severiano lies unconscious in his blood. Emmanuel begs Aldonza to confide in him, she confesses to him that Severiano raped her. He also has the same reaction as Christobal but she manages to convince him not to confront Severiano. Christobal rushes home and shouts for his mother. He asks her if she aware, she asks him of what. If she was aware of what his father did to Aldonza that made her leave Santa Lucia. She asks him to calm down and explain to her because she doesn’t understand. He tells her he doesn’t believe her and informs her he is leaving her house.

She yells and congratulates him for disgracing her in Santa Lucia. He tells her Irma and her husband are not Santa Lucia but the child grandparents. If she wanted Severiano and Candela to be the grandparent of her child she can as well accept Irma and Uriel. She asks him not to ever mention her uncle and aunt to her. She doesn’t care what happen to them especially Severiano. Humberto asks her if something happens that she hasn’t told him. She says no and asks him to leave her room. Candela goes to Severiano and asks him what he did to her son to make him leave the house. He also shows her the punches on his face, she wonders if he got to know what he did to her. Severiano laugh and assures her Christobal doesn’t care about her. The only person he cares about is Aldonza; she wants to know what happen. He tells her the same thing that happen to her, may she finally decided to tell Christobal. Candela looks shocked but he tells her not to be she requested he does something to make her leave town. She tells him she won’t be his accomplice and decides to leave but he holds her hands. He pushes on her door and tells her he also slept with Valeria but for fun and tries to kiss Candela.

Severiano interrupts their conversation and tells Humberto he came to solve El Santuario situation. He is sure Humberto is already aware he no longer lives at Las Animas. Humberto tells him he doesn’t care. The land is going to be in Emmanuel and Aldonza’s name. Severiano asks him if he is going crazy. Prudencia begun to laugh, Humberto assures him he is not; he is only doing the right thing. They both know the land rightfully belong to Aldonza but they stole it from her.
Valeria hears them and decides to go downstairs; Severiano reminds him he helped him. Humberto agrees that is precisely why he is trying to rectify his mistake. He is happy to know that his decision hit him where it hurt the most. Severiano assures him he can also do the same to him and tells him she slept with Valeria. Humberto get angry and grabs him by his shirt and also revealed he intentionally amputated his arm because of what he did to Father Sixto and tries to strangle him. Valeria begs and cries for her father to let go of him, Prudencia on the other hand is enjoying and keeps laughing. Severiano takes out his gun and point it to his chest, Humberto dares him to shoot. Severiano leaves and Humberto tries to hit Valeria but Prudencia stops him. As soon as Humberto leave Prudencia makes fun of Valeria for sleeping with Severiano. Valeria tells her she did it out of desperation because he promised to keep her secret. Prudencia reminds her he warns her not to mess up with Severiano. She begs her mother to help her have an abortion but Prudencia refuses because it is too late for have an abortion. Aldonza calls Christobal to check on him, she was worry and wants to know what happen. Valeria goes to a woman who performs illegal abortion to try her luck. Once again she is turned down; she is too advanced to have an abortion and may end up dead.
Valeria phone call interrupts Aldonza and Emmanuel conversation. Aldonza takes the phone from him and warns her not to call him again or show up at her house. Candela follows Melesio to Christobal hotel’s room and begs him to return to the house. Lola goes to Emmanuel to apologies for not trusting him. Emmanuel tells her it is not important because he loves her and they kiss. Humberto brings the land documents to Aldonza. His apologies for all the harm his wife and daughter did to her. he hands her the ownership documents of El Santuario to her. Humberto assures her that the least he can do to appease his conscience. Humberto leaves and someone drives straight into Aldonza’s direction. Humberto pushes her away, and in the process the car run him over. Valeria realized she rather knock her own father and yells.
