The inspector comes out and Severiano interrupts him, Severiano tells it is very important that he gets his gun back. He wants to inspector to tell him what he has to in order to have it back. The inspector he just has to wait until Adriano’s trial is over. Severiano proposes to give him something in in exchange for his gun. The inspector asks him if he is scared that the bullet found in Raymundo’s body will match his gun. He says no, Aldonza only made this story up, he is sure it won’t be a match; all he wants is his gun back. The inspector tells him he is not interested in his offer, moreover his gun is no more in his possession. He advises Severiano tries his luck with the judge; maybe he will accept his offer. Aldonza assures Emmanuel she always cares about him even before she got to know he is her brother. Emmanuel finally raises her head to look at her. She kisses his forehead and leaves his room, to join Adelina in the hall. Aldonza offers to stay with her uncle to look after Emmanuel, Adelina also want to stay with her but she refuses. Candela asks Dominga what happen with Valeria. Dominga tells her what happen and Candela begs her to tries as much as possible to avoid any confrontation with Valeria. Christobal comes to the priest house to visit Emmanuel.
Aldonza tells him Emmanuel is already in bed; Christobal assures her that the relationship between her mother and his father is totally different from their relationship. His feelings towards her are very pure, they try to kiss but the priest opens the door and interrupts them. Aldonza tells her uncle she is spending the night at his place and hope he doesn’t mind. He asks her about what he saw when he opened the door but she refuse to talk about it. Silvia wakes up and starts shouting, but Renato is beside her. He holds her and asks her to be calm she is with him Renato. He tells her she is safe in the clinic and hugs her to console her. Tomas goes to see Prudencia but the maid refuses to let him in, she tells him Prudencia is asleep. She swallowed a lot of pills with some drugs and now she is fast asleep. He decides to come back later but she tells him of late Prudencia is always drunk. Lola goes the priest house and meets with Aldonza, Aldonza tries to convince her to go in and see Emmanuel but she refuses. Aldonza intention leaves Emmanuel breakfast in her hand. She tells Lola is going out and asks her to take it to Emmanuel.
Candela and Valeria have a chit chat about what happen yesterday with Dominga. Candela takes advantage and asks her about the ultrasound once again but Valeria gives her an excuse. She later agrees to have it, Candela asks of Christobal and she tells him she hasn’t seen him since morning. Lola takes Emmanuel breakfast to him and tries to convince him to eat but he refuses. Tomas shows up at Prudencia’s house very early in the morning and knock at her door. He asks her to open the door and face him about what she did to Silvia. She asks him to leave because she has already informed the police. Pato visits Silvia and assures her everything will be fine. He tells her they will find whoever did this but she tells him it will very difficult. He tells her Tomas thinks it was Prudencia, he and Renato feel responsible for what happen to her. Humberto and Aldonza enter her room and overhears them talking about Prudencia. Pato tells him Tomas thinks his wife is responsible for Silvia’s attack. Uriel help Lola with her account balance, he tells her if she continues saving this way. She will soon be the richest woman in Santa Lucia. Humberto assures Aldonza if Prudencia is indeed responsible he will commit her to a mental hospital. He decides to change the subject and asks her how Emmanuel is doing. She tells him bad, he is angry at everyone, her, Christobal and whole world.

Christobal tells her he is not going to allow her and Candela manipulates him. Lola runs into the loan man and offer to pay Irma’s debt. Humberto informs Aldonza he is going to transfer El Santuario into her and Emmanuel’s names. Mari stands and watches Lola and the loan man talk. She begs him not to inform Irma about it, he promises not to. Aldonza asks Humberto why the sudden change of mind, he tells her she and Emmanuel are the only people who deserve El Santuario. She offers to pay him back but he refuses. He tells her that is the least he can do to free his conscience. Severiano enters Humberto’s office and overhears Aldonza asks Humberto. If he thought of what Severiano will do when he found out that he gave El Santuario to them. Severiano confronts Humberto about what he heard but Humberto reminds him he is in the hospital.
Adelina hands over Raymundo’s ashes to the priest and decides to go and talk to Emmanuel. Severiano and Aldonza have a confrontation but Humberto asks her to leave. Aldonza turns and Severiano tries to attack her but Humberto holds him back. Humberto reminds Severiano that the land is still in his name. Severiano mocks him for saying his land, when he knows very well that the land doesn’t belong to him. Humberto takes the land documents and reminds it that it says otherwise. Severiano throws the documents away and yells at Humberto that El Santuario belong to him. He is the rightful owner; Severiano asks him what Aldonza gave him in exchange. Humberto assures him she had nothing to do with his decision; Severiano threatens him to put the land back in his name. Humberto assures him he can’t do anything.
He has already given specific instruction on what to do with the land if anything happen to him. Adelina hands over Roberta’s picture to Emmanuel and asks him for forgiveness. She assures him that Roberta always mourned his death. Lola tells Christobal about the bullets that were found in Raymundo’s body. She is worried about Aldonza because his father may do something bad to her. Valeria goes to El Santuario to talk with Aldonza about her son and his father Christobal. Aldonza informs her aunt that Humberto has decided to put El Santuario into her and Emmanuel’s names. She also updates her on what happen in Humberto’s office. Christobal storms into his father office and demands he tell him the truth about Raymundo’s death.
