Shadows Of The Past Episode 103
Valeria joins Christobal and hands over the engagement ring to him and tells when he changes his mind and decides to marry her. He asks her to stop and let her that even though he divorce Aldonza, he will never married her. She walks away then holds against the wall, and pretends to be dizzy. Christobal quickly runs over to check on her but she him not to pretend as if care about her. Aldonza informs Adelina about her relationship with Renato. Candela comes into her room and notices that Dominga is doing general cleaning. She goes into her wardrobe and brings out her candy house. She hands it over to Dominga and asks her to do whatever she wants with it. Aldonza joins her uncle in the church and notices that he is worried about something. Flavia brings back Raymundo home; he tells his father they saw Adelina in town. Joaquin asks Flavia he hopes she didn’t get into an argument with Adelina. She tells they didn’t and start coughing again, he informs her about his intention of sending her to Mexico to see a doctor. Christobal rides his horse in the night; he goes near Aldonza’s house. Aldonza is sitting outside, someone points a rifle at her direction, and Aldonza gets up at walk.
The person notices Christobal around, and then points the rifle back to Aldonza and shoot. Christobal speeds off to her direction, Aldonza falls on her back, her eyes are watery. Camilo comes and sees her, then try to stop the bleeding, Adelina also comes out crying. Dominga sets the table when the other maid informs her they are all out. Adelina calls Humberto to inform him about Aldonza’s situation. They quickly rush her to the clinic in the truck along with Christobal. Candela and Severiano meet at the door, she tells him she went to church to pray for Aldonza to vanish from Christobal’s life. He reminds her that father Jeronimo always protect her and assures her it will soon end. She asks him what he means but he tells her it is not important. She asks him where he coming from, he smiles and asks her if she wondering he went to see one of his lovers. She laughs and reminds him it won’t be the first time. She hopes he won’t get her pregnant again; Dominga comes out of the house. Severiano mentions Dominga’s name to let Candela be aware of her presence. Prudencia put the light in Valeria’s room on and sees her take off her boot. Valeria complains about her pregnancy nausea and stuff. Prudencia tells her it is normal, and suggests she sees a doctor. Valeria refuses to go because the doctor will asks for the ultrasound he requested for.

Emmanuel stares at Lola’s picture on his phone; he recalls the day she sneaks into Christobal’s room to kiss him. Veronica joins him and he hides his phone, she removes her shoes and joins him in bed. She takes his phone and sees Lola’s picture, she asks him if she is his girlfriend. He hesitates then say yes, no, she asks him if loves her, he says yes. Adelina warns Christobal that if Aldonza dies. He tries to touch her to assure her that Aldonza will be fine but she refuses he touches her. She blames his family, he admits that his parent hates her but they won’t be capable of shooting her. She informs him it is not the first time his father hurt Aldonza. She quickly stop when she realized she was about to tell him about the rape incident. He asks her what is she referring to, she says nothing but if his father is responsible for Aldonza’s situation, she will make him pay. Candela knocks and shouts at Severiano to open his door. She walks in and tells him Christobal isn’t home, he asks her what does she want him to do. They start arguing about his relationship with Aldonza, she tells him until Aldonza is still alive, Christobal will never give up on her.
Humberto informs them Aldonza is out of danger, the bullet did not have any major effect. Adelina asks Christobal leave because Aldonza is now out of danger. Adelina and Lola go into Aldonza’s room, Adelina believes it is Severiano but Aldonza tells her they have nothing to prove it. Christobal burst into his father’s room and holds him by his only hand and drags him out of his bed. He accuses him of shooting Aldonza, they start arguing and shouting until Candela joins them. Candela orders him to let go of his father and asks him what the problem is. He tells her his father shot Aldonza with his rifle. Candela asks Severiano if it is true but he says no, her son is going crazy. Severiano tells him he did nothing, and it is very stupid of him to think he can fire a rifle with only one hand. Aldonza is finally discharge, they overhear a nurse tells someone on phone that Aldonza is fine. They ask her and she tells them it was a lady but she refused to mentions her name. The police shows up at the hospital to ask her question, she tells him the only person she can think of doing this to her is Severiano Mendoza.
Candela comes into Christobal’s room to convince him that his father didn’t shoot Aldonza. She assures him his father was home with her and moreover he can’t fire a rifle. He tells her his father can’t but she can. Dominga visits the priest the following day and informs him she is back at La Animas. She tells him about Aldonza condition, she looks surprise that he did know about it. She tells him Aldonza got shot last night but she fine now and at home. Severiano goes to check on his rifle but doesn’t see it and he starts shouting Candela’s name. He accuses her of trying to set him up but she assures him she didn’t. He then remembers Valeria knows where the rifle is, Candela decides to also check it again. He thinks Christobal took it the police. Melesio informs Christobal that his parent were home last night. Their cars and horse were not moved last night. The only people who were out last night is both of them, Christobal wonders who try to shoot Aldonza then. Candela goes to Valeria and asks her if she tried to kill Aldonza, Valeria tells her she has no idea what she is talking about. Candela stops her and assures her she does, she asks her the same question again. Valeria finally admits and tells her she regrets Aldonza didn’t die.
