Regina begs Miguel not to leave the house because she needs him. Miguel informs her he has also decided not to leave. He loves Consuelo and wants to stay around to make sure she is fine. Erick tells his father he made a mistake, and begs his father not to blame Monserrat. Arturo agrees; he blames himself for trusting Erick he turns to Nina and asks if she knew about Erick affair with Monserrat. Nina asks him if he intend to accuse his own and send him to prison. Yes, he will do just that, he will send Erick to jail; he is very disappointed in him. Nina and Erick beg Arturo not to send him to jail; Arturo wants him out of the company. Regina and Miguel chat about her love for David and the rivalry between Eladio and Arturo. Nina blames Arturo for not been a good father to his children except Miguel. If he wants to speak about betrayal, Regina also did same by working with his worst enemy. Daniella also an alcoholic, her children are in a mess because he only cares about Miguel. Erick foolishly backs his mother up and tells him he was never a good father to him. Arturo reminds him he is the one working in the company not Miguel. Erick tells him Miguel is from a different family. Arturo reminds him Miguel is also his son, his brother. Arturo tells Nina is the reasons why her children are wayward; she is the reason why Erick became a traitor. Nina slaps him; Arturo warns her not to ever to that again, she also tells him not to call her son a traitor. Arturo wonder how she wants him to refer to Erick, he sold out to Eladio. Consuelo hides and listen to their conversation, Erick tries to shift blames. Arturo asks him to take responsibility for his action. He wanted an easy way to make more money to please his lover. Arturo threatens to take away his company share, Consuelo finally comes in.
She begs him not to take away his share because they are expecting a child. Franco cuddles with Marinita in the house when he sees Gaby. He quickly pushes from his lap and pretends to be given her instruction. He introduces Gaby to Marinita and hopes she treats her as she deserve. Erick tries to use the pregnancy to change the subject; he tells them they will finally have a child. Regina and Miguel also come in and ask what wrong. Arturo reminds Erick he accused his sister Regina for betraying them. He wants him to apologizes and explain to her what he did. Julia is worry that David will be working with Regina. David tells her they both agree to keep working on the project; Julia doesn’t feel it is the right choice. She wants to know if Regina was the one he was kissing, David uses work as an excuse and leaves. Erick plays the good boy and apologizes to Consuelo and promise to be the good husband. Miguel calls him hypocrite and tries to confront him but Arturo asks him not to interfere. Petra interrupts them and informs Arturo about Augustin’s call. Gisela visits her daughter in jail, Caridad can’t wait to be out, and she already knows how she is going to make her living once she is out. Gisela tries to discourage her but Caridad is hopeful. She asks of her child father, well nothing that she doesn’t know, he is still fighting with Arturo. Caridad is glad her child is not to staying with him if not he will have become like Eladio. Maribel and her family enjoy the beach at Acapulco. Eladio tells Julia that Arturo should raise his children well. Julia wants to know what he is talking about but he refuses to give her details. She leaves and Franco wants to know how he went with Arturo.

He knows about their relationship, Eladio wants to know apart from Julia is has no other relationship. He also warns him to stay away from his private life. Erick takes his wife to the bedroom and thanks her for defending him. Consuelo tells him he is her husband; she loves him and will always defend him. He promises her he will never see Monserrat again, and she actually believes him. Arturo requests for Erick presence in his office to listen to his verdict. He put Augustin on loudspeaker to also listen to the verdict and make the changes. Erick has been demoted from his position as a vice president and as such loses some benefits. He informs Augustin Erick will now report to him, he wants Augustin to cancel Erick credit card and check book. David visits the Montenegro’s mansion to speak with Regina; he wants them to give it a try again. Miguel goes to daddy in his office, he feels bad about what happen. Arturo needs a son he can trust, and asks Miguel to join him in the company. Miguel is kind of surprise. Arturo always preferred Erick to him because he blames him for his mother’s death. Arturo confides in him that there was no love story between him and his mother. Regina and David kiss, they agree to give it a try and inform their parent. Miguel feels Arturo rejected him because he didn’t love his mother.
Arturo disagrees with him, he is his son and he loves him just like the rest. Arturo tells him about his relationship with Julia but without mentioning her name. Miguel guess that woman is Nina but he tells him no, the woman is question is now married with a child. Arturo married Nina to give Miguel a family. Miguel wonder why Nina, he would have preferred not to have a mother. Nina informs Daniella about Erick betrayal. She feels a Consuelo pregnancy was what stops Arturo. Daniella teases Nina about becoming a grandmother. Nina doesn’t want to be called grandmother. She feels she can only call a grandmother if the baby belongs to her daughter not her son. Arturo apologizes to Miguel for making him feel he hates him and assures him things will change. Erick walks on them hugging, and hears Arturo tells him he loves him. Erick and Miguel end up fighting and always throw punches at each other. Arturo comes between them and reminds them they are brother. Erick tells him Miguel is not his brother, oh yes he is and you will respect him. Erick brings food to his wife in bed, he tells her about the fight with Miguel. He warns her not to speak with Miguel again; she agrees if that what will make him happy. He goes to the bathroom and leaves a message to Monserrat and tells her he loves her. Eladio reminds David about his condition to continue his Queretaro project. David tells him he overheard his conversation with Franco and can’t do it. He tells Elaido he is not like him and can’t work with him.
