It becomes impossible for us to believe ones again that Lorenza join hands with Gisela to destroy Esmeralda and this time is to help Gisela to continue to pretend that she is sick so to get Pablo’s attention on him without Pablo and with that Gisela can go to the extent of stealing the children to kill them one after the other without anyone suspecting her since she will still remain like an epileptic person. Esmeralda goes to the temple to pray asking God to help her walk again and whiles praying, father Rivas enters to ask her to forgive Pablo since he only wanted to get married to Gisela At the expense of his father’s illness and critical condition but Esmeralda still says to father Rivas that it doesn’t justify his action though anyone in his place would do that but he could also have even mention that to her.

Esmeralda continues to have her therapy and as the day goes by she improves by the help of Dr. Havier and Dr. Emmanuel. She rides alone to the slope side to encourage herself and to learn to walk and play and after a while, her foots get use to the ground and she walks again but sits back in the wheel chair to tell it to her family as a surprise to them. Pablo goes to see Esmeralda to ask her for forgiveness but she tells him there’s nothing to forgive because he always behaves like an immature person since he always thinks for himself alone. Pablo tries shifting the blame on Gisela but quickly Esmeralda corrects him not to push the blame on Gisela because he was the one who accepted to have the wedding with her and even went to the extent of concealing it from her as Gisela could never have forced him if he had refused her offer.
She then asked him to go since she never wants to see him ever again. Since Augustin is bedridden now, Mariano stands in as his father’s counselor and after appearing in court ones again, counselor Mariano pleads guilty for his father and declares Severiano as innocent but all he pleaded with the court is to pardon their father from all the public publication that was asked from Silencioso, since he (Augustin) is already paying for all the wrongs he has done against Silencioso and others. Silencioso accepts Mariano’s plea and the next day, the verdict of the judge ruled in favor of Silencioso making him a victorious man, meaning Silencioso’s name is now cleared up through Mariano.
