After Dominico testifies against Pablo through Mariano’s convincing, The police in their own investigation detect that, the ballistic test indicates one thing that the Italian lied against Pablo and therefore they saw that, he contradicted himself many time since he declared that he was shot on one way but it happened another way. Due to these reasons, Pablo is now released and he becomes a free man and all of Silencioso’s household mount into great happiness especially Esmeralda since they only have a week to prepare for their wedding. Pablo begins work to earn more for their marriage ceremony. Whiles working, Gisela goes to see him but Pablo stops painting and says to her that, he wants to leave since interacting with her only seem quit uncomfortable as he is angry with her for speaking to Esmeralda who is the love of his life in that awful manner when she visited him in prison.
He then asked Gisela to excuse him since he has an appointment with the woman he loves (Esmeralda). Pablo walks out on her and Gisela tells him that he shouldn’t think that is the end and he is never to think that, he can get rid of her easily. Esmeralda, Jarocha and Mrs. Merche go for shopping looking for nice wedding dress for the occasion. After they finished shopping, they arrive home and whiles playing together, Esmeralda hears Mrs. Rita’s voice echoing through her mind and telling her that, her future is set on stone and no one can change what fate has degreed. Esmeralda still feeling curious wishes to know the meaning of Mrs. Rita’s card reading so she quickly goes to see her to inquire from her the meaning of those words concerning her destiny.
Mrs. Rita takes up her cards and after her readings once more, she tells Esmeralda that, she is going to be alone and that she is pursued by a lonely spirit as her children are not going to stay with her as they grow and Esmeralda tells her that, it is never going to be so since she is now going to marry Pablo and also she also have her children and therefore loneliness doesn’t come in. Esmeralda tells her again that she will never believe her but Mrs. Rita still insists. Gisela pays Pablo an unexpected visit in his house and Pablo tries telling her he can’t remember asking her to come see him but Gisela this time around discloses her feelings towards Pablo and she tells him that, she came over to tell him that she truly love him which why he will not let him leave her alone and Pablo grows shocked.
Damien and the court authorities go to Augustin’s house to evict them from the place since everything proves that the place also belongs to Silencioso. Silencioso goes to the house after Augustin was evicted and veronica (Lorenza’s maid) and the Omar (driver) go to plead with Silencioso that they have no place to go and Silencioso tells them being a worker to his enemy doesn’t make them also his enemy therefore they can stay in the house to take care of the place for him and they became so grateful to him.
