[adinserter block=”10″]On Friday as Star Wars: The Force Awakens was officially opening, the 35-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star revealed on her Instagram page throwback photos of herself and husband Kanye West, 38, wearing Star Wars costumes in 2008, five years after they first met and six years before they wed, on the set of his sketch comedy and variety pilot, Alligator Boots. We can say Star Wars has a way of bringing people together – even the stars themselves. Kim was wearing Princess Leia‘s slave bikini and double cinnamon roll hairstyle, while Kanye sported as a Stormtrooper.
“If I knew then what I know now #fbf #2008,” Kim wrote on Instagram.

“We had met before this project (back in 2003), but I would say this is when we first really connected. These pics are SO funny!” she said on her website.
Alligator Boots, which Kanye helped create, was never picked up to series. It also featured puppets and was produced by Jimmy Kimmel‘s production company, Jackhole Productions, which created Comedy Central’s Crank Yankers.
Kim had also shared a 2008 photo of herself and Kanye on the set of the pilot earlier this year.

In a post on her website titled “Happy Star Wars Day!” Kardashian West shares photos of her and West dressed in full Star Wars garb for the pilot of an unaired show.

“In honor of ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ being released today, I wanted to share these old pics of Kanye and me from years ago!” she writes. “We worked together on a pilot for a show called ‘Alligator Boots’ back in 2008 and I played Princess Leia. We had met before this project (back in 2003), but I would say this is when we first really connected.”

Kardashian West previously shared photos from the fun shoot in a tweet earlier this year. “#TBT 2008 on set of Alligator Boots….awwww these memories!!!!” she wrote.


The producer of the sketch, Naomi Scott, spoke to Bustle in September about sensing the obvious chemistry between the A-list pair while they were filming.
“I was there, the moment they met in the room,” Scott said. “[Kanye] was enamored with her from the very second he said [Kim] name.”
