I Forgot I Love You Episode 034
Pasqual and Sonia are heading out to work. Pasqual offers to later pick little Maria from school. Sonia says he shouldn’t bother. After all he has been distanced with them for some time . Pasqual apologizes and says he has been over stressed lately. but he has always been calling to check in on them. Sonia says it’s not important. He should forget she said anything.
Maria Clara calls Gilberto into her room. She complains that little Maria is now using their late daughter, Cecilia’s bedroom. Gilberto tells her that it’s nothing serious, it shouldn’t bother her. Maria Clara says she came to the Coronel mansion so as to heal. she has been rather sad here. She goes on to say she needs another child. She asks Gilberto to sleep with her , besides she knows that he’s also lonely . Gilberto is shocked. He protests that it’s over between them. He doesn’t have any feelings for her. She should never ask such from him. He angrily walks out of the room.
Sonia picks little Maria from school. They chitchat about their cravings for some delicious food.
Melchor, Pasqual, Gilberto and a heavily pregnant Alba are in the company board room anxiously waiting for some personnel from the winery regulatory agency for inspection. The new secretary Manuel comes in to inform them that Mr. Codero from the agency called to say that they are not coming. The Coronels are so disappointed.
Gilberto invites Alfredo into his office. He queries him about his relationship with Codero’s daughter who works in the company. Things were going smoothly between the Coronel and Codero. He wonder why the man is now fighting them all of a sudden. Alfredo gets defensive. He says that Maria is a tramp and a liar. Gilberto treathens Alfredo to go see Maria and fix their personal problems. He wants him to persuade her to put in some good words for the company, with her father, else he’ll deal with him ( Alfredo ).
Melchor visits Florencia’s mother Magdalena. They argue about Javier’s bitterness and vengeful campaign against the Coronel family. Melchor tells her that Javier late wife Adel had an affair with Gilberto only because Javier was cheating on her with another woman. Javier is still with the woman till date . Melchor looks at the shock on Magdalena’s face and says that he bet Javier never told her that his children turned their back on him because of his infidelity.
Sonia is buying some drug in a pharmaceutical store. She comes out and sights Alfredo having a heated argument with Maria across the street.
Alfredo begs Maria to call her Father Codero to assist the Coronel winery to regain back their ceased certificate. Maria gives Alfredo a cologne, says it’s her favorite. He should wear it and meet her in an hour time at a particular spot at the Coronel vineyard. Alfredo tries to protest, but she laughs at him and walks away.
Magdalena confronts Javier about him cheating on his wife. His wife only started an affair with Gilberto out of loneliness. Javier tries to beat around the bush, but finally admits. He says that he has stopped seeing the other woman. Magdalena tells him to get out of her house. Javier is leaving, he stops at the door, turns round dejectedly. He tells her he has lost her, without even having her. He steps out.
Maria Clara hands the phone to Melchor. She says someone want to talk to him. He collects the phone, it’s Javier on the line. He abuses and threatens Melchor . Melchor calls off his bluff. He also treathens to deal with him. He then hangs up the phone. Maria Clara has been eavesdropping. She comes to Melchor to gloat over his predicament.
Florencia is at home. She asks her mother why she’s acting weird. Magdalena tells her about Javier situation, how he lied against his late wife.
Alfredo meets with Maria at the vineyard. She tells him to lie on the ground and feel comfortable. Alfredo reluctantly obeys her.
Sonia is at home. She stealthily gets to the kitchen, takes Alba’s vitamins bottle and empties it. Then she fills with the drug she bought a while ago. She goes to meet Alba in the study with a glass of water and the supposedly vitamins and tells her to take. Alba thanks her and takes a pill. Sonia leaves as soon as Alba swallows the pill.
The police inspector Chivero comes to furnish Gilberto with his findings about the mysterious woman in the picture Gilberto had earlier given him. Chivero shows some other pictures of the same woman. He says that her name is Irene Socero. She worked as a nanny in the Coronel’s family from 1970 to 1980. She disappeared without any trace, her family reported her missing. The police closed the investigation after some time. Gilberto is shocked. He says if she was a nanny for such a long time. It’s strange that Pasqual denied knowing her.
Manuel apologizes to Alba for not being able to complete the task she gave him. He begs her not to tell her father, some writer by name Javier called and he ignorantly answered his questions. Alba suddenly collapses and falls on the floor. Manuel rushes to her and shouts for help.
Pasqual is at home. He tells Sonia that Alba has lost the baby. The doctor is examining her upstairs. He want to run a test on her to know the cause of the miscarriage. Sonia gets nervous and says it’s normal for a first timer to experience a miscarriage. It’s pointless for the doctor to do any investigation. She then says she want to go and take care of Alba. Pasqual stops her, saying that Alba needs to rest. Alfredo comes in and rushes upstairs when he’s told the bad news.
Alfredo bumps into Gilberto just outside the door of the room where Alba is. Gilberto asks him about the assignment with Maria. Alfredo is shocked that Gilberto will discuss about work at this moment. He accuses him of not being concerned about Alba. Gilberto tells him that it’s because He cares for Alba that he’s dealing kindly with him. He should pray that Maria convinces her father to help the company.
Alfredo is in Alba’s room now, the doctor is leaving. Alba is crying, she gets furious when she sees Alfredo and asks him to get out of the room for not being there when she needed him.
Alfredo meets Melchor and Gilberto in the study. Melchor is angry that Alfredo was no where to be found for a long while ago. Gilberto tries to defend him, says he sent him on an errand. Melchor is not pacified, he says that’s is not an enough reason. his phone was also switched off, he then asks Gilberto to excuse them. He wants to have a word with his son inlaw. Gilberto reluctantly leaves. Melchor treathens Alfredo that he’s being tolerated in the family because of the baby they were expecting and also of the fact that Alba loves him. Now the baby is dead, and he should pray that Alba still loves him. If not, he’ll loose his place in the family.
Manuel meets Melchor, says he has something very important to discuss with him.
Florencia is doing some search on the computer , Rómulo comes in and teases her, asking whether she was looking for a date online. Florencia talks about Javier, says she wonders why she can’t find any article online about Javier’s wife alleged suicide. Rómulo says that maybe someone paid to ensure that the story is wiped from the media, and maybe the same person is making sure Javier’s stays quiet
Javier goes to meet Rómulo in the Rivero’s winery , he tells him that he’s sure he Rómulo also knows it’s true what he wrote in his book about his family, the Coronel intentionally sat the vineyard on fire so as to swindle the insurance company. Rómulo says that anything is possible with his family. Javier then asks Rómulo to put in a good word for him with Magdalena, Rómulo responds that he doesn’t have such influence on her. Javier plays dirty, treathens to expose Rómulo for using Laurena to control Dario. Rómulo warns Javier not to forget that he’s a Coronel and should desist from threatening him , but Javier goes on to say that he’ll tell Florencia that he Rómulo knows Laurena from way back, and he’s also sleeping with her. Rómulo looks trapped.
Manuel visits Alba, he gives her a bouquet of flowers and steps out.
Alfredo comes to Alba’s room. He gets piqued when he sights the flowers in the room. Alba tells him that Manuel brought them. He’s the one that has been there for her. he’s coming to take her now to see her doctor.
Florencia goes to look for Javier to clarify the situation between him and her mother. Javier tries to defend himself by warning her against Gilberto. Florencia is not convince, she leaves.
Magdalena teases Dario about his new girlfriend, says she hopes it’s not serious. Dario laughs at her, says she’s jealous. She urges him to sit down, he does so, and she asks dozens of question about Laurena. Dario promises to bring Laurena to tonight’s dinner on the condition that Magdalena will not ask her too many questions.
Pasqual thanks Manuel for taking care of Alba. Manuel informs him that the agency called. They are coming for an inspection spearheaded by Philippe Codero.
The agency personnel are done with inspecting the Coronel winery, Codera seems satisfied. Melchor and Gilberto asks him when they can regain their certificate. Codero promises to put in a good word for them at the agency, he then leaves. Alfredo is watching from a close distance. Gilberto tells Melchor that Chivero is asking many questions about the fire incident at the vineyard.
Melchor sees Maria Clara in the kitchen and they both continue with their usual argument about who was responsible for the death of Cecilia. Maria Clara says that Florencia is now with Rómulo. Melchor says it’s not true, and that very soon Florencia will come for Gilberto. He says that whatever happens, Maria Clara still remains as part of the family. At the moment, he’s strategizing on how to deal with Javier and any other woman he discovers, working against the family.
Chivero gets a surprise visit from Maria Clara. She claims she has information on the fire incident at the Coronel vineyard.
Florencia is having lunch with Magdalena and Dario at home. Chivero comes in to invite her to the police station for questioning. The Rivero family is shocked, Florencia tries to find out why she’s been summoned. Chivero tells her that there are witnesses who saw her on the night of the fire at the Coronel’s vineyard.
