Elizabeth Gutierrez Talked About “Her Man” And How Difficult It Is To Be A Woman On Her Blog.
While many women consider Elizabeth Gutierrez to be their role model, the actress confessed on her blog that it is not always easy to feel attractive, especially when you must keep up with your busy schedule and perform your duty as a mother. At the beginning of the year, Elizabeth shared several thoughts on the subject in which she also spoke about her family.
“I don’t know about you, girls … But sometimes I think it probably would have been easier to be a man. I think about our roles as mothers and the many hats we wear, it is pretty overwhelming if you think about it: Mother have to be professional drivers, counselors, cooks, bankers and still be women. (With a smile on our faces, may I add!)”, she wrote on her blog.
She later shared with her readers her secret to success “Then how do we do it all? I guess for me it is just taking it a day at a time, one step at a time, one task at a time”.
For Elizabeth, combining all these activities with femininity and look attractive is not impossible, “I try to make time for me as a woman, and I thinks we all should, we owe it to ourselves” she revealed. However, sometimes we feel uncomfortable when we try to be sexy because, she wrote “It seems society expects women who are mothers to be funny, kind, cute… but never sexy”.
Although she didn’t refer directly to William Levy, the actress explained, “We are continuously criticized and shamed: if we gain weight; means we “let ourselves go”. If we get back into shape and start taking care of ourselves; means we’re obsessed with our looks. (Or in my case, I’m criticized for keeping my body in shape so that “my man doesn’t leave me”. Ridiculous.)”

On her blog, she implied that her family life at home seems to have returned to normal after some problem she had with William Levy. “ I also started explaining to my kids that the same way they needed time to go over to their friends’ house, have play dates and enjoy their own activities that mommy wasn’t a part of necessarily, that same way mommy and daddy also needed that time for themselves, their grown up time” she wrote.
Elizabeth and William seem to be picking up their relationship after confirming they had separated. However, both have been spotted together in family outing with their kids, as Levy made the trip to South Africa to film the last part of Resident Evil, Elizabeth and their kids join him for a weekend.
