Bridges of Love Episode 97
Alexa decides to shoot in another direction, and assures Carlos she won’t let him have it the easy way, because he deserve to suffer for all the harm he caused her, she will make sure, he never has peace of mind, or be happy. She tells him he doesn’t deserve to live, because of all the pain he caused her. She blames him for ruining her life, she trusted and believed him because of love, and pour all her hate for him out, while crying, then start holding her tummy because she was is pain. Gael joins them and rushes her to the hospital. Marilen tries to convince Manuel to drop his charges against Lorenzo, because someone needs to end the fight, but he refuses and tells her he is doing it for JR for all the harm he caused him. Lorenzo tries to hide all the document that can incriminates him, when Vida walks in, he advises her to start parking her stuff because the house no longer belong to them. She curiously asks him if he intend to run away from the lawsuit. He reminds her that his priority is to get back what Alexa stole from them; he needs to go away and thinks properly. Vida goes in and he promises himself to get back everything no matter the consequences. Manuel tells Marilen he is so angry with Lorenzo, but despite the fact that he is evil, he was able to do what he (Manuel) could not do right, be a good father to JR. Marilen tells him it never too late, especially now that they found out that JR is still alive. He asks her how he can be a father to someone who doesn’t even want to see him a father.

She asks him to be patient, Carlos is a true Nakpil, and he will surely come home. The doctor informs Alexa to be strong because the life of her baby may be at risk. Alexa begs the doctor to do everything possible to save her baby. Manuel informs Eva, he has no intention of suing Lorenzo anymore. He finally listen to his wife to end this rivalry, she thanked him for listening to her. Lorenzo says his goodbye to his house with watery eye. Carlos calls his parents to inform them he brought Alexa to the hospital, they quickly join him. Alexa receives bad news in the hospital; both her life and the life of her unborn child may be in great danger, if they are not able to save the baby due to the severe bleeding she had. The doctor advises Mia and her father to take advantage of the little time her mother has to spend quality time with her, and make her comfortable. The doctor informs Alexa that her baby is safe; however recommend she has a complete bed rest to avoid another relapse. Mia tells her dad, she is worried about Carlos. He keeps insisting that he doesn’t need his family love. But deep inside he is hurting. Carlos shows up at her house but decides to wait outside. Mia assures her father there is nothing like the love of your family. Even though she didn’t spend much time with her mother, she felt her love during the little time they shared. She wants Carlos to give himself a chance to feel his mother’s love. Carlos recalls his moments with Mia. He tells himself he has nothing more to offer to her, because Carlos Antonio is now a nobody.
Mia father advises her to stay away from Carlos for some time to allow him solve his issue with his family. Mia comes out and sees him but he walks away. She decides to run after him. Marilen and Gael visits Alexa at the hospital with food. Marilen tells her the soup is good for her and the baby. She advises Alexa to gain her strength not only for herself but for her baby. Marilen assures her that once the baby is born, a mother’s love to her child is forever. She advises her not to hold any grudges in her heart, because that is where a mother’s love for her child come form. She tells her it is no more about her but the wellbeing of her child and consoles her. Mr. Hence shows up at the bar and throw money at Carlos and sarcastically asks him if he can still afford a drink. Mr. Hence then draws everyone attention, and tells them the great Carlos Antonio has fallen. Carlos says nothing but shakes his head. Mr. Hence makes fun of him and asks him if he has no money left but Carlos assures he has. The police come to Alexa’s room in the hospital to enquire about the gun shot in Carlos’s apartment. Gael intervenes and offers to give them a statement because he was also with them. Carlos is drag out of the gambling room because he has no money to pay. Gael informs Alexa that the police agreed to drop the case if no one presses charges. She asks him why he decided to lie to cover up for her. He tells her he doesn’t want her problem with Carlos to get worse. Carlos uses his last note to buy another shot of whisky. Carlos insists on gambling, even though he doesn’t money, he ends up getting beaten until the police show up and drag him to the station. The police officer informs him the club owner lodge a complaint against him. Carlos him, they were the people who were causing the trouble, they beat him up. They decide to lock him up till he become sober.
