Mia holds one of her necklaces and have a flashback of what she went through before she met Carlos, and the warning people gave her regarding Carlos, then Ivanka’s confession, gets angry and destroy everything in the shop, letting all the anger is her out, until her father hears her cries and comes to check on her, he holds her tightly and comforts her, Carlos finally shows up at the wake, he tries to avoid Muloy’s corpse but Muloy’s son holds his hand and brings him closer, Carlos stops him and tells him he can’t do it, he asks the little boy to go to his mother, and sit far away from Muloy’s body, teacher Yolly notices him but she isn’t too sure so she approaches him, and asks him if he is JR, Carlos watches her without saying a word, but Yolly is now sure it is him and tells him she is teacher Yolly, he tells her he is not JR, and walks away, Eva asks Gael to accept the fact that she handed over his case to someone else, he asks her why she decided to hand over his case to someone else without even telling him, she tells him it is because she failed, she could not stop the wedding, Gael gets closer to her and assures her she didn’t, she feels uncomfortable and pushes him away, he apologies, she finally confesses that she was happy when the hearing was postponed, and wedding pushed through, Gael can’t believe it, she agrees she is not making any sense, but she didn’t want him to have hope with Mia because she likes him, so she can’t handle his case anymore.
Gael looks so confuse that he can’t even speak, Gael tells her he still loves Mia, she tells him she knows but at least they still remain friends, Carlos calls Mia, he wants them to talk, she tells him she is home and hang up, [adinserter block=”10″]she has flashback again and cries, she angrily throws the cup of tea on the floor, Carlos shows up and notices how pale she looks, she tells him she spoke with Ivanka, and tell him about the conversation they had, Carlos denies it, she asks him to tell her the truth, she wants to know if took advantage of the fact that her dad was dying and did not have money to pay his bills, Carlos refuses to answer and tells her not now, she starts hitting him asking him if she is right, he still refuses to talk, she get mad and slap him for making look like fool, then voices her anger out, Carlos asks for forgiveness and tells her she knows the type of person he was, she tells him he used her for 2 good years, she trusted him despite all the warning because she thought she knew him, but she mistaken, because the Carlos Antonio she knows will never use and hurt her; he loves her, that is why she put up with his anger, all his jealousy and tempers, she was confident he loves her, and believed things will surely get better, that is why she held unto that love but now she doubt if it was love. Carlos holds her neck in his arms and assures her he loves her, she tells him just like an object he bought and owned, that is what she is to him, it isn’t love, she asks him to leave and pushes him away, he hesitates for a moment then plays the bossy Carlos, asking her if it is her excuse to end their relationship, and tries to force her to come with him but she refuses.
He grabs her violently and start pushing her towards the door but she resists and start shouting until her father shows up and tries to separate them but Carlos asks him not to interfere to pushes him away so hard that the old man falls down, then takes Mia away, the kept arguing in the car, Manuel asks Gael why Eva decided to stop working on his case, tells him personal reasons, teacher Yolly sent the picture to Marilen as they agreed, she goes through the picture and sees JR among the students, Mia’s parent are worried Carlos will do something to their daughter, Mia’s mother calls Gael to inform him that Carlos just kidnapped Mia, back in the car, Carlos and Mia continue to argue about the same old story, she asks him to stop the car so they talk but he refuses, Marilen calls Yolly and tells her one of her student in the picture is her lost son, JR Nakpil, Gael calls Tres and asks him to inform the police that Carlos kidnapped Mia, and asks them to send backups to Carlos’s house, Gael calls interrupts their argument, but Carlos snatches the phone from her and throws it away, Gael keeps on calling Mia but nothing, he swears to kill Carlos if he dares to hurt Mia, Marilen informs Manuel that JR is alive and shows him the picture.
