Carlos decides to leave before Gael opens the door, Lorenzo get a call from his friend to inform him that everything went as they plan, Carlos followed Gael to Mia’s room, Mia checks her phone and sees Carlos miss call, she decides to call him, he hesitate for a moment but picks it up and asks her where she is, she tells him in her room, he asks her if she is with someone, she says no, then he hangs up, and remember her letter he read, he leans against the wall and cry, then angrily destroyed the flowers he bought for her and cry more, Muloy informs his wife Carlos asks him to investigate Mia’s co-worker, she seems surprise that he is telling her because that is what he always does for Carlos, he agrees with her but he feels remorseful now, because Carlos is always suspicious of Mia, he doesn’t recognize him anymore, she tells him that the life Carlos prefers, Muloy tells her he sees Carlos like a brother, and it is his responsibility to put him on the right path, the Engineer apologies to Gael for sending him the wrong message earlier, Gael tells him it is ok but he hopes he doesn’t happen again, he doesn’t want to get lost, Pierre comes to Mia’s room and notices her anxiety, she questions her about it but Mia avoid the subject, Venus also notices it and tells her she doesn’t look like someone who is having a fashion show, she looks like she is at a funeral, Carlos meets the guards on their way back from the coffee and scold them, they tells him Mia sent them on a coffee break, his father’s friend watches him as he orders the guard to wait for Gael and bring him in his room, Mia tells Venus Gael was in her room, and she is scared that if the her guards saw him, they will informs Carlos, she hopes Gael stop chasing her, and put stop to whatever he feels for her, she prefers he kills her in his heart because whatever he does she is not going to change her mind, she chose Carlos, and it is Carlos she will marry, Venus robs her shoulder and comforts her, after his meeting Gael comes to Mia’s room again, but this time he doesn’t go in he touches the door and mentions her name, then leave, Lorenzo’s friend meets with the fake Engineer and pay him.
Lorenzo calls him for an update, he tells him their plan is working, Carlos was burning with rage when he saw him, Lorenzo tells him now all they need to do is to wait for Carlos to break up with Mia, once he is convinced that he was betrayed by the woman he loves, no matter the explanation Mia gives him, he wont forgive her, Eva introduces the bodyguard to Gael’s parent, they inform her Gael is meeting a client, Mia’s parent also come to the fashion show, she reprimands Ramon for not treating her like a sick women, he tells her he doesn’t want her to miss the first fashion show of her daughter, Eva calls Gael to inform she is in his house, he asks her to wait for him, he just finish with his meeting, but she tells him she prefers to meet him there, just at that moment Carlos guards approach him and tells him their boss want to see him, Ramon scolds Mia’s mother for clapping so hard during the show and tells her it was embarrassing, Pierre interrupts their conversation to also congratulate them and informs them people like Mia designs, Pierre asks them if Carlos was with them, she looked for him among the audience but she didn’t see him, so she thought he was planning a surprise for Mia, they also tells her they haven’t seen him, Venus asks Mia not to worry since she hasn’t spoken to Carlos yet, Mia believe thing will get better once they move to the States, he won’t be jealous, or angry anymore, Alexa joins them, Eva comes to the hotel and doesn’t see Gael, she asks the receptionist if they have a guest named Carlos Antonio, the receptionist says yes and shows her his room, she asks the guards to follow her, meanwhile, Carlos’s guard drag Gael to his hotel room, as soon as they put him in the chair, Carlos tries to punch him but Muloy stops him, Eva and her guards also come in and she orders him to stop or else she will add to the charges against him, and takes Gael away, once at the reception Eva reprimands Gael but he tells her he didn’t know Mia was also here, but she doesn’t listen to him, she keeps scolding him, he tries to explain but she won’t give him the chance to talk, he even shows her the text message on his phone but she still didn’t believe him, Mia tells Alexa there should not be anything for them to talk about because she can’t be trusted, Alexa asks her if that is what Carlos told her.
Carlos is voicing his anger out on Muloy, he saw them together in the room, they are traitors, , Alexa admit she went against Carlos but she had her reason and advise Mia to ask Carlos about it, Mia tells her she doesn’t need to and asks Alexa to leave, Muloy asks Carlos to calm down, maybe he misinterpreted what he saw, but Carlos is too furious to listen, he saw both of them in Mia’s room, he trusted them but the made him look like a fool, he sees nothing in Mia but lies, now he doesn’t even know how he is going to look into her eyes, Alexa tells Mia that Carlos is using her just like he also used her, at this point Muloy is out of words, at least he was able to make Carlos sit down, Alexa tells Mia, she also believed Carlos when he told her he loved her, he used to show her how important she is to him, Mia interrupts her and asks her if they were dating, Alexa tries to avoid the question but Mia insists she answer her, but she still didn’t answer and tells Mia Carlos only used her for business , money, and to betray her own husband, Mia still insists she answer but Alexa tells her Carlos used her, Mia then draws her own Conclusion, Alexa confirms it and tells her Carlos is a monster, he doesn’t deserve her, Mia asks her to leave, but Alexa tries to convince Mia that Gael is the right man for her to be with, but Mia asks her to shup up, and leave, Alexa apologies, smiles and leave the room, Muloy manages to bring drunk Carlos home, Carlos shows him how he will introduce him to the Nakpil family, Eva and Gael get home, Gael asks her to add today event in the charges against Carlos, Eva asks him to be sincere with her and asks him why he went there, he tells her he had a meeting with his client in that hotel, it is just a coincidence that Mia was also there for her fashion show, but Eva doesn’t believe it is a coincidence, and asks him to think before he decide to jump on his coincidental meeting with Mia, because people care about his life, he apologies for making her worry, she tells him his case with Carlos can be won but his love for Mia, is like fighting a losing battle.
