As most fans already knew, the EDM artiste stopped performing live back im 2014 due to health issues attributed to excessive drinking, which later led to his appendix being removed.

Bergling, made a statement in a heart wrenching letter where he publicly announced leaving the concert convoy for good. That was the end of his performing live.

He said, To the Hollywood Reporter in 2016 and I quote:

“To me it was something I had to do for my health. The scene was not for me. It was not the shows and not the music. It was always the other stuff surrounding it that never came naturally to me. All the other parts of being an artist. I’m more of an introverted person in general. It was always very hard for me. I took on board too much negative energy, I think.”

Among the awards he received included, AMAs and Billboard awards.

No immediate cause of death has been disclosed yet.
