Renata cries and wonders who will listen and console her. Patricio tells her she is not alone, she has him. He tells her she will never be alone and asks her to give an opportunity to make her happy. Renata feels it is not the right to talk about it, he agrees with her. He tells her Mateo informs him about the priest death. He knows how much he means to her so he could not leave her alone in this difficult moment. Mel doesn’t believe Lucio and decides to leave with the sleeping drugs. He warns Lucio not to stay away from him. he is no longer going to help him. Lucio reminds him he needs the drugs to sleep. Mel tells him the best remedy for sleep is to have a clean conscience. Efrain interrogates Marcelino about the death of the priest. Marcelino suggests he questions the mechanic if he wants know more about the damage car. Fausto interrupts them and joins them in the conversation. Efrain feels there is more to the stories and intends to investigate. Helena joins the rest in the morgue and wants to know if Mateo saw the body. The whole town mourns the death of a great man. they all gather to the cemetery to say goodbye.
Fausto joins them and holds the casket together with Mateo, Motor, and Diego. The new priest sprinkles Holy water as they head towards the cemetery. Abi recalls Father Francisco lead the procession for her father‘s burial. But his time around they are burying Father Francisco. Macaria seem to be the wholly person not to attend the burial. She brings food to Constanza and tells her the priest is dead. She asks Constanza to behave herself because everyone is at the burial. Constanza removes the cover of the place and sees a big dead rat on the salad. She freaks out; Macaria stands outside the door and enjoy the moment. Patricio refuses to return to the ranch with Renata. He however promises to visit her from time to time. Fausto visits Macaria in her house and to know if Renata is pregnant. Macaria gives him the result and tells him she is not pregnant. Macaria teases him and tells him he is not younger. Fausto wants to know if Renata is using birth control to prevent a pregnancy. Macaria doubts Renata is using birth control. Fausto asks her to find out and replace the pills. Macaria want to know if he intends to sleep with her again. She reminds him of her threats to hand over the gun to Efrain if he ever sleeps with Renata.
Fausto threatens to kill her if she dares. She feels he won’t be able to kill in jail. He asks her to help him; it is for their best interest if Renata gives him a child. He asks her to look at the bigger picture, Renata gives birth then disappears. He will be in charge of everything and will be generous to her. She reminds him she already has Abi, and Renata disappearance will be to her advantage. she tells him she will make sure Renata loses the child if she ever get pregnant. Fausto doesn’t know how and when she got his gun. He assures her once he finds it he put a bullet right in the head. Lucio apologies for his behavior last night, Fausto tells him not to worry. He wants him out of his ranch; he is fired with immediate effect. Macaria comes out and wants to know why Fausto is sacking him. He tells her he doesn’t know may be he found out they are accomplice. Efrain visits Renata in the house and runs into Helena. Awkward moment, the old man tries to hit her but she is too hard on him. Fausto is pissed off because Efrain intend to investigate both Pablo and the priest death. Marcelino reminds him Efrain is only doing his job. Efrain visits Lucio at home and ask if the priest had enemies. Lucio nervously tells him he knows nothing and leaves his house. Mateo runs into Abi in the ranch. He tells her he went to her house and she was busy with Diego.

Mateo feels bad because the priest died in his hand and he could not do anything to save him. Abi asks him to blame himself and they kiss again. Helena tells Renata she always thought Abi was Fausto’s daughter. Renata wonders why, Helena tells her Macaria and Fausto. Renata stops her and tells her they are lovers. Helena feels it is a bit strange Pablo is Abi father when Macaria and Fausto are lovers. Helena puts one or two things together and asks Renata is Abi is her daughter. Renata feels offended and tells her she will give everything to also have her own child like her. Mateo breaks from the kiss and apologizes to Abi. Abi wants to know if he loves her, he reminds her she was kissing Diego. She also reminds him he proposes to Dianna then asks her the same question. He tells her he was confused. He is in love with Dianna, the woman he will soon marry. Abi wants to know who she is to him. He tells her she is very important to him. He knew her since she was a child. She is like a sister to him, so I guess he is allowed to kiss his sister. He leaves Abi crying her eyes out. Mia intends to speak with Fausto to help her get her son out of jail. Renata and Helena notice that Mateo and Abi look nervous.
Abi uses the perfect excuse and prefers to have lunch in the kitchen. Efrain informs Renata and Helena that he feels the priest death wasn’t an accident. Macaria teases Lucio about the death of the priest; he nearly chokes her to death. She wants to know if he killed the priest. He tells her he was only following his boss orders. Macaria suggests he blackmail Fausto if he wants to job back. Lucio reminds her he doesn’t have a gun or anything else to use against Fausto. She tells him to speak up but he tells her his word means nothing against Fausto. Fausto requests to speak with Mateo. Mateo prefers they do it later because he is meeting Dianna. Mia and her niece flirt with a boy ate the restaurant. Lucio doesn’t know where to start from since he is fired. Macaria suggests he takes advantage and visits him son to spend some time with him. Lucio tells her no, he has nothing in common with his son. He ends up talking about his wife and son. His wife married a rich man and Max prefers to behave like a rich man son. They have been talking on phone but his boy never requested to visit him. Speaking of Lucio’s son, we finally meet him at the end of the episode.
