Renata also decides to join them for breakfast; Fausto interrupts them and wonder why he wasn’t invited. The commander wants to questions Benito about the death of Pablo. Benito end up crying, he tells him Pablo was more than a friend to him. He feels bad he couldn’t help him; Commander asks if he knows who killed him. Benito refuses to comment on the subject and tries to leave. He admits that Pablo had a relationship with Renata but begs him not to tell anyone. Commander asks him to trust him and tells him what he knows. Benito won’t say a word until Renata herself tells him to. Fausto joins the rest at the table, they chat about the election and Fausto intention to contest. Renata is surprise he is contesting, he wonders if she is not happy. Renata asks him if he except her to be happy for him. Fausto tells them she has always been like her. She always hates what he (Fausto) like no wonder she has them as friend. He grabs Renata head and forces a kiss on her mouth before he leaves the table. Commander meets Helena on his way out and introduces himself. He is impressed especially after she tells him she is not married. Teodora inform Dianna’s maid about the two boys sneaking out of her bosses’ window last night. She quickly changes the subject and tells her friend her boss Dianna also does same. Dianna maid gives her details about her boss relationship with Fausto and Mateo. She tells her Fausto comes in the house and kiss Dianna. As soon as he leaves, Mateo comes in and she also kisses him. She doesn’t want to imagine what will happen when both men meet in the house. Abigail joins them and wonder what they are talking about. Renata wants to go horse riding with Patricio. Vicenta thinks it is bad idea because she is blind. Patricio holds Renata’s hand and promise to take care of her.
Fausto sees them from a distance. Abi and the maid chat about Mateo and Dianna’s relationship. Abi tells them Mateo is not interested in her but they disagree. She wonders why he kissed her when he is not interested in her. She feels they are from two different worlds. Mateo is a doctor and nephew of Fausto, while she is the maid’s daughter. Just at that moment Mateo appears from nowhere and he asks to escort her. Helena joins them and Mateo suggests they go out. Renata assures Dr. Patricio that Fausto is not jealous of their friendship. Patricio thinks otherwise, Renata tells her Fausto is too self-centered to even look at her. Dr. Patricio assures her she is still very beautiful and can arouse any feeling in a man. He tells her if he was her husband he will have treated with so much care. Renata prefers they change the subject. Patricio wants to know if she wants to go somewhere. She tells him by the river side, the place remind her of love. Lucio and his boss take a walk and chat about the workers and other stuff. Fausto wants an update about Macaria, Lucio hasn’t spoken to her yet. Fausto wants to him to his time before he accepts her offer. Lucio wants to accept it right away. Fausto assures she is very smart and will suspect they are in together. Macaria knows he will never betray him so easily. Fausto gives him some tips on how to treat a woman. They end up talking about Lucio’s wife. He informs Fausto she left him to marry a rich man from the North. Lucio hopes the same thing doesn’t happen with Renata and the doctor. Fausto tells him to give a difficult horse to Patricio the next time he wants to go riding. Amanda and Vicenta gossip about Renata and Patricio. Constanza enters the kitchen and check the boiling pot on the fire. She sees dirty water; Mel also sees the same dirty water back in his cottage.

Fausto comes to Macaria’s house and tries to strangle her demanding she returns his gun. Macaria refuses to show him the gun and tells him it is her ticket to live in the ranch. Fausto swears one day she will pay for betraying him. Mateo, Abi and Helena spend the day together in town. Helena notices her son must be in love with Abi from the way he behaves towards her. Dianna and her aunt wonder where Mateo is it. Dianna has no idea but she intends to investigate. Macaria runs into Lucio and asks if he thought about her proposal. Lucio tells her he doesn’t intend to betray his boss because of a kiss. Macaria assures him he will get more than a kiss; Lucio tries to abuse her until Benito arrives. Mateo, Abi and Helena return home, they barely settle down when Dianna shows up. I hate Mateo already, he flirt with Abi in town then calls Diana his love. He introduces Dianna to Helena.
Dianna has the nerve to introduce herself as Mateo’s future’s wife. Abigail has to witness it, Renata holds her to console her. Renata requests to prepare a room for Helena but her refuses. Renata hopes she has no intention to return to the city this late. Helena tells her no, Fausto evited her from the house in town. Renata wonders why, Fausto asks her not to interfere. Abi informs her Helena is staying in the hacienda and apologizes for not telling her. Lucio and Benito almost end up in a fight. Macaria asks Lucio to leave and tells Benito she can defends herself. Benito tells her Diego asks about Pablo the last time. Macaria feels Abigail will start asking question. She asks him to be careful and watch what he tells them. Fausto wants Mateo to understand that he will never give his approval for him to marry Dianna. Constanza gives a huge sum of money to Amanda to be given to Abigail to manage the hacienda. She wants Amanda to make Abi believe the money is from her so it doesn’t look suspicious. Amanda tells her Abi will never believe her, Constanza cries and asks her to help her. Abi is her granddaughter but she can’t call her as such, she feels it is the least she can do for Abigail. Benito confesses to Diego that he is in love with Macaria regardless of how rude she is towards others. Fausto and Dianna meet by the river side; he hopes she remembers what he told her. He holds her neck and reminds her he told her he will kill her if she ever cheat on him. He drags her inside and river and tries drown her.
