Mateo promises Abi to talk to his uncle on her behalf. Abi is sure he has no idea how evil Fausto is. Lucio and his gang throw Helena and her personal belongs outside. Dianna and her aunt chat about their love life. Dianna needs both men, she loves Mateo and Fausto gives her anything to likes. The phone rings and her aunt call the caller her son, Dianna is surprise. Marcelino joins Fausto at the bar. He asks him to report to his office the following day; he has important news for him. Dianna’s aunt begs her to get some cash from Fausto. Her son is in jail; Dianna is not willing to help. Abi informs Macaria that Fausto threw them out of the ranch. Macaria asks her to hurry so they leave. Abi wonder what will happen to her godmother. Macaria tells her she has a husband. She speaks ill of Renata, Abi defend her godmother. Macaria tells her Bruno kills her Pablo. Abi tells her she spoke to Renata and doesn’t think Bruno killed Pablo. Abi wants to Diego to find out form Benito if he knows Pablo Ramos. Marcelino wants Fausto to stand for election. He wants his friend to become the next municipal Mayor, Fausto agrees. Simona is also approach about the same position from a different party. Diego wants to know if Benito knows Pablo. Patricio tries to convince Renata to allow him examine her eyes. She refuses; she tells him she has already made peace with her blindness.
Helena informs Diego Fausto threw her out of the house. She can’t reach Mateo so she decided to come here. She begs Diego to pay to her taxi fare. Fausto enters Renata’s room and stands behind her without saying a word. She touches her necklace and calls Pablo. He returns to his room and curses Pablo; Macaria is in his room and startle him. Mateo punches Lucio for evicting his mother in a degrading manner. Lucio was only following orders. Macaria swears to Fausto she will destroy him. Fausto isn’t scared she has nothing against him. He assures her no one will believe her story. She has more than a story, she reminds him of his missing gun. Macaria requests for twice her monthly allowance to keep her mouth shut. Fausto tells her the allowance ended after Abi turned 18 years. He also threatens to tell Abi macaria has something to do with her father’s death. Macaria is not scared, she advises him not to have her as an enemy. He has no idea what she is capable off and storms out of his room. Mateo drags Lucio to the ranch, they meet with Fausto outside. Mateo confronts Fausto, uncle remind him he already inform him he will no longer help them. Fausto denies telling Lucio to throw her out. Lucio tries to defend himself and get punched again by Fausto.

He asks Lucio to apologize to Mateo, Lucio reluctantly apologizes and leaves. Macaria happen to be around and eavesdrop on them. Abi joins Helena in the hacienda; Helena recalls Macaria telling Fausto Abi is their daughter. Abi hopes she is not mad that the hacienda now belongs to her. Helena is very glad to know that Mateo helped her to become the owner of the hacienda. Fausto tries to play nice with Mateo, he promises to make Lucio sorry for what he did to his mother. Fausto asks Mateo to tell Helena she can return to the house anytime she wants. Mateo refuses; he doesn’t want to owe him anything. They end up chatting about Abigail and the hacienda. Mateo begs him not to separate Renata and Abigail. Fausto informs him about his intention to stand the municipal mayor. Lucio returns home and takes his frustration on the chair. Macaria enters his room and tells him she came to check on him. She flirt with him and asks him to help her destroy Fausto. Mateo informs his mother about the conversation he had with Fausto.
Mateo offers to get her own place; she tells him Abi agrees to let her stay in the hacienda. Everyone shows up at Pablo’s burial in white expect Lucio. Macaria sits beside Helena in the church. Helena tells her Pablo is not the father of her child. They both know Fausto is her father, Macaria laughs. Macaria mocks her for being in love with Fausto all these years. The Cruz sisters’ exchanges note with their boyfriend during the memorial service. Mel shows up and leaves flowers near Pablo’s portrait. “Why must we always burry Brandon Peniche in a movie”. Abi leads the troop to the cemetery. Followed by Mateo, Patricio, Diego and Benito with the coffin. Mel prevents Lucio from going to the cemetery. Pablo is finally given a benefiting burial, Renata sobs uncontrollably. Dianna wants to know if Mateo likes her, he assure her he loves her. He tells her not to ever doubt his love. She apologizes for being jealous about his friendship with Abigail. Speaking of Abigail, she comes out of the house and sees them kissing.
